The room was clean and bed was comfy. The restaurant was excellent! Delicious food served by a very courteous staff. The girl at the front desk was very helpful in answering some questions we had about Gander.

The hallway leading to our room smelled of cigarette smoke and a heavy scent of pine sol. I was glad that our room did not.

Yes, it's really on the Trans Canada Highway. Don't drive aimlessly round Gander as I did. Handy location close to everywhere including a gas station, Tim Horton's etc. Large comfortable room and friendly staff who kindly let me use the excellent wifi for a video conference after I'd checked out. There's a bar and restaurant onsite too. Fascinating fact. King Charles III and his father Prince Philip stayed here many, many years ago! The Prince was a keen pilot and had flown into Gander. The hotel should do some research and tell guests!

A bedside light didn't work and I had some issues with the aircon - reported.

Didn’t eat breakfast

Too much space around the door to the room. Didn’t d speak up while talking because could hear us out in hallway. People lighting up cigs outside the back door. Cig can on step with butts in it. Spoke to manager and she was very concerned and would look into the cig smoking and the can.

After a long days drive, it was nice to have a rest. The restaurant, service staff and food was excellent. We had hoped to attend memorial services for sept 11, and found one in the evening . It was excellent. Hotel was standard and basic and sees a variety of guest. Aviation museum practically across the road is a must see if u get a chance

Our tv didn't work but we didn't bother reporting it. Towels were in short demand but they did have a full house . Found it hard to find any info about 9/11thru usual venues, ie internet. Needed to do face book as we found out!

Wonderful hotel just perfect for travelling out and seeing the beauty of Newfoundland. Kathy at front desk would give us ideas and out of the way excursions.

Not much I didn't like. Hotel gives you a 70s feel but is kept immaculately clean.

Room was clean. The beds and pillows were very nice. Easy access to the car. The breakfast was very good.

Would have preferred a modern shower rather than a bathtub shower.

Very good location , room could of used a little dusting, but other than that, I am satisfied. The lady at the front desk was very friendly.

Could I finished a light dusting under the TV and stand, when you sit down, you can see the dust where they missed it

Staff were helpful. The hotel is pet friendly - not just service animals. Centrally located in Gander and a good base for exploring the area. There are no square corners which I love! Free parking. Right on the highway but no traffic noise in the room.

Bathroom is a little dated - not a criticism - just an observation. It functions perfectly, and it was spotless.

The hotel is older and a little tired but my room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities I needed. The dining room on site was nice. Great service, friendly staff. Great deal on full breakfast for guests.
