Location on a beautiful lake. Quite remote and very private. Easy to find. Meals were available on site and were cooked and served by very nice ladies. There were not really any other nearby options for dining. The common areas of the lodge were comfortable and spacious with a very nice outdoor porch.

Our room was very dark, narrow and small - it contained too much furniture including a large dresser that short term guests would probably never use. The room also had a queen bed and a twin bed plus 2 night tables and a chair that just took up space. Fortunately we just had small carryon bags - there was no space for larger suitcases. The shower was new and very nice but the bathroom was tiny. It was difficult for 2 adults to move around in the limited space. Check the room options to be sure you know what you are booking- for us this was the only option when we booked.

This is one of the best places that we have ever stayed at. We travel a lot world wide so we have a lot to compare this to. Everything was wonderful from the friendly, happy, helpful staff to the delicious breakfast (included) and delicious dinners (extra) to the cozy, comfortable beds and rooms. The home cooked meals were exceptional and they accommodated our preferences and needs. The lodge has a communal sitting room that overlooks the beautiful lake. The area was so quiet but handy for St. Anthony's and L'anse Aux Meadows. We would stay here again. We would very highly recommend this Lodge.

Nothing.

This place was overall a really nice place to visit in the wilderness. The lodge was so beautiful, and on a beautiful lake. The food was outstanding, and the staff were very friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

The staff were A + incredible, food was delicious location is gorgeous common room is beautiful

be careful staying here during hunting season if you’re not a hunter, they get up at 5 am and there’s lots of noise as they get their breakfast and prep to leave. rooms are very small, beds comfortable but pushed up against the wall so a bit tricky for couples.

The staff was super friendly! We enjoyed the conversations with other guests in the evening in the "living room". Beautiful location!

No air conditioning, which is normally not necessary. We were there when it was unusually warm.

Very nice Lodge, ecellent location, perhaps a bit lonely. Breakfast and dinner were very good. We could bring our own vine for dinner.

The lodge is - with all the taxes (around 20 %) a bit expensive. Most of the attractions (mainly in the Region of St.Antony and further north-west) are one driving hour away.

the weather was cold, windy and rainy; but that didn't matter. The food was good, and the people we met were a delight. The atmosphere, furnishings, food, were warm and comfortable. This would be on my list for my next visit.

The bed linens could be cotton, the pillows could include down/feather as well as fibre filled.

The lodge and surroundings are beautiful! The staff were friendly and accommodating!

There was no air conditioning. I'm sure there usually is no need for it, but we were there during a very warm time. 😉

Beautiful location! Enjoyed conversation with other guests in the living room!

The only negative was that there was no air conditioning. Normally, it's not needed, but it was unusually warm😀
