Hotel was just like a B&B in the UK. The room was clean and spacious with two beds. Shower was accessible. It was in a quiet location with gardens. Ideally placed at the beginning of the Cabot Trail. The owner was very informative and gave us a sheet of ideas for walks and viewpoints along the Trail. He also recommended a restaurant along the road.

Limited choice for breakfast though freshly cooked. Gluten free was just egg and toast. Toaster was not very efficient.

The property is in a great location and was perfect stay for a family weekend skiing at Cape Smokey. Breakfast being included was a huge bonus since in winter the options are extremely limited. The owners provided excellent hospitality! Plenty of games, music and room for a nice pizza night after a day skiing. Perfect place to stay.

The breakfast was so good, freshly made just for us in the morning. We enjoyed sitting in the dining room, leisurely eating and drinking coffee in the morning sun while overlooking the gorgeous scenery. The hostess was so welcoming and helpful, making our stay feel like we were with friends who wanted to make our trip the best possible. The property is close to the National Park and other places to explore.

nothing!

Amazing breakfast provided by the owner. Blueberry pancakes, sausages and coffee. Wonderful way to start the day. Friendly atmosphere. Very tastefully decorated hotel room, comfy beds. Fabulous location at the start of the Cabot Trail. 2 great trails within walking distance. Wonderful view from the balcony. Have recommended to our family to stay there if they ski at Cape Smokey.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the view was lovely. Tracey cooked up wonderful, fluffy blueberry pancakes one morning and perfect bacon and eggs the next. The location was absolutely perfect, being 300m from the gates to Cape Breton National Park. We will definitely be back to stay with Tracey and Mike, our amazing hosts!

Peaceful BnB, Room 3, big room, Confortable Queen bed, new modern furniture and floors. Large bathroom and corner shower. Nice view to lake and heard the loons during the night. Included breakfast. It was nice to chat with the hosts and pet there beautiful and very quiet cat Spike.

Breakfast was good but choice was limited. We had Coffee, toast, Pancake and sausages, orange juice. No fruits or yogurt. Room walls and door are a little thin. But generally it was ok as most people are very quite in a BnB like this.

The made to order breakfast was much appreciated. Bacon was crispy and the coffee (with the chocolate was a really nice touch). The bonus sheet of stops and places to see was great.

Wish there was an outlet in the bathroom. I knew there wasn’t a hairdryer so I brought my own, but sadly no outlet to plug it in.

The location was great, 2 seconds from the beach lovely where we watched the sunrise. The owners were lovely, they made us a really good breakfast. The check in process was easy and the bumped us to a better room free of charge because they had the space. They recommended places to go for the rest of our travels which were amazing. All around very easy process and great place to stay.

Very comfortable beds and beautiful outdoor veranda to sit under. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. We had amazing blueberry and strawberry pancakes for breakfast.

There is no air conditioning and it was extraordinarily hot when we stayed. The ceiling fan was not adequate to cool us.

Beautiful old house, owners were friendly and great location along the Cabot Trail. Rooms were spacious, we enjoyed having breakfast in the dining area downstairs and there was much to see in and around the house.

No AC, open the windows and wait a bit for the ocean air to come in.
