What a beautiful location, over looking the boardwalk, bluenose and Ocean. Loved my morning coffee on the balcony and watching Luneburg wake up and people coming in to see the ocean. The owner was always smiling and happy, even with our late arrival. Love, Love that they are a quite location as we are early to bed and early to rise.

There really isn't anything we didn't like. Although there is no parking it is easy to find on the street. No worries there.

We did not have an issue during our one night but I could see noise being an issue from other guests. We were close to the lobby. Footsteps up the stairs. We noticed we could hear our own tv from the hallway (and turned it down more). They are very clear they do take quietness seriously and I believe they would address any issues they could.

Excellent location. The staff and facilities are awesome. We particularly liked the Common Balcony area with the fantastic waterfront view! The room was clean and very comfortable. And there is an emphasis on this being a quiet hotel, and that is definitely what we experienced.

It's unfortunate that there is no designated parking. Depending on how busy it is, you may end up parking on the street quite a few blocks away, but this should not be a deterrent to stay here as you can temporarily park on the street in front of the hotel to unload. We were fortunate to find a parking spot on the street directly in front of the hotel as the busy-ness in town subsided later in the afternoon.

Centrally located in the heart of Lunenburg. Easy check-in and check-out. I appreciated the wifi, coffee maker and comfortable bed. There was an outdoor space overlooking the harbour for use by all guests.

The hotel emphasizes quiet (much appreciated!) because as an historic building, sound carries. Our room (#1) faced the central entrance so we heard many conversations as well as the footsteps / water of the room above. That being said, the hotel enforced quiet during sleeping hours so it wasn't a big issue for us. It is an older building, room, bathroom, etc. but was kept very clean. Be aware depending on arrival time that street parking may take some hunting.

The location right by Lunenburg’s waterfront couldn’t be better, our room was spacious, bright and very comfortable. When we arrived after a long day driving, we were warmly greeted by Tim with a big smile. He also gave us some great restaurant suggestions which were spot on. A great stay overall and we would go back in a heartbeat.

No elevator to 2nd floor, but it is an old, historic building so the lack thereof would be expected.

The property was spotless! The staff was friendly and helpful and while they reside on site, they were not intrusive. We were able to enjoy a veranda overlooking the wharf. Our room faced the street, but it was still very quiet. The bed and room were spacious and comfortable.They offered free ice while there and in the go, which was a lovely touch.

Location was fantastic. Room was beautiful, very clean, well equipped, comfortable. Loved the balcony. Host was super welcoming and checkin was very easy.

I would have loved a little ambient light at the kitchen counter (I’m an earlier riser than my husband). And even just a tiny bedside shelf or detached bed side table to hold my glasses and glass of water/coffee cup in the morning.

There was no breakfast included, but the room was nice. Had a view of a wall, but no one could see in. The location was prime. It is a perfect spot to access anything in town

The beds were really squishy which some might enjoy. The balcony was pretty shabby but had a great view of the beautiful harbor. There is no parking so you are on your own and if you have lots of gear it can be problematic.

Best bed and pillows of anywhere we have stayed!! So we got the most important thing.... great night's sleep! Good location in downtown Lunenburg.

The Television situation was not good for "old timers". If you don't have and do streaming apps it is difficult to figure out and the channels are therefore limited. There is no designated parking. You have to scramble for downtown parking with everyone else which is limited.

We were greeted by the owner. Everything was well organized very well thought out for the space. Having an outdoor deck was such a bonus!

Parking is a challenge in Lunenburg, however the owner gave us some great tips and info. While I really liked the modern decor of the apartment the sling chairs were a bit difficult to get out off with ease. The front door could use some weather stripping or other adjustment around it as there was a small gap that let in light and noise from the other guests.
