Vintage feel but still upgraded and clean. They gave us a complimentary bottle of wine for our anniversary at check-in, which was lovely. Spa services were wonderful and can claim massages under insurance. Hot springs were great, yet second day they didn't feel as hot. Trails onstie ate good for beginner hikers. Very easy.

They seemed to be a little short staffed in the restaurant area. Roo. Service was very hard to get through to and we ended up going down to the restaurant and waited for a staff to take our order. No vending machines on-site or stores for snacks in walking distance. Convenient store about a half hour away by car.

It was an ok room.for the rate...spa good In the room.the toilet was.rusty in the drain...disgusting

Waiter in the pub area wasn't properly trained! We asked a question re the beer on tap and the answer was "I don't drink beer so I don't.know anything about it"....(????).....He then took the drink and food order at the same.time (sorry that is not done) TV was on playing the Simpsons ..no music. AbSOLUTELY disappointing. That is a beautiful room ...Christmas decorated and no music??? NOT good enough attention to detail. Food was great but we waited an hr for it and the waiter never checked.on us in that time. Or offered.a second.drink.

We have been there multiple times and without fail we always are treated like royalty. Clean, helpful and we always love that bottle of wine that comes with the room. The food was delicious. Shoutout to Fred our server who was excellent and had so much fun.

We have been to milcroft a couple times. However, the only area for opportunity was lunch at the spa. We were not allowed to keep a tab open for our drinks nor were we allowed to get the lunch charged to the room.

Room was clean and cozy. Spa was amazing, staffs were friendly and helpful. The most liked part of the hotel is its fantastic restaurant.

Everything was clean except shower curtain in our room which had some moldy spots at bottom. Also there wasn't any hair dryer in men's bathroom in spa.

The ambiance, beds were so comfortable, food was amazing. Servers were fantastic and friendly. Location great.

Over night stay, bookings at Spa are always fully booked by day passes weeks in advance so we couldn't get in and i called for 2 wks prior to going hoping for cancelations. Such a late check in, half the day is gone and out by 11am. Bridge was very icey to walk across, seen a staff member fall face first, such a lovely lady from the cafe.

The grounds and facilities are very nice. Lots of spaces to relax and also walk/run.

I really wanted to have a relaxing stay, but it just fell short. We stayed in the main building. Our room was a bit dated, but roomy. Bed was super comfy but then pillows were horrible. Coupled with very creaky doors (think a bit of WD-40 would go a long way), I had a very bad sleep. Service was either very good or just not there - took over an hour to get an order poolside. It didn’t live up to expectations, but not sure how much is covid related. They seemed well staffed but hard to know what’s going on behind the scenes.

The spa was next to the hotel very convenient, the food was excellent, and the staff were really nice and helpful.

It rained, and it was some trails that were very muddy so we decided not to hike the second day.

The property is spectacular. A beautiful waterfall is located just outside the restaurant. Hiking trails wander through the wooded property. The outdoor hot pool was excellent in which we spent several hours enjoying a drink and getting to meet other guests. the on property Restaurant was also excellent.

our room located in the original manor was nice, clean but not overwhelming like other properties we’ve stayed at.

Our room was rustic yet comfy and cozy. The spa facilities were amazing and everything was clean and well-kept. We enjoyed a drink by the pool so that was an added luxury.

We did not eat at the Inn even though we would have preferred to do so. The prices to eat in the restaurants were much too high. There should be a restaurant in the facility that is more reasonably priced (ie. pub style and menu). We went out to eat which was not as convenient as staying on the grounds.

Spa facilities are nice and super relaxing. The rooms are cozy and the beds are comfy. It's a great getaway from the city. The grounds are nice and lots of trails around.

Overall, the hotel is a bit tired and in need of some sprucing up. The rooms very pretty clean, but not renovated (ie bathroom tiles and bathtub could be use some updating); same with the spa facilities. The restaurant is pretty good but both the food menu and cocktail menu are somewhat dated.
