Hotel is super cool and fun to stay at! The Restaurant is very good too!

This is about the 20th time I have stayed at this hotel. They gave me one of the worst rooms in the hotel and the front desk lady was not very friendly at all. The person in front of me was given a large room upgrade and he had never stayed there before. You would think they would prioritize their customers who come often. I guess they don't have that capability to track who comes and goes.

There was so much unique Wall-art and sculptures throughout the building. The one exterior wall of the building was super cool. The bed was huge (we booked a king, so we expected a king) and the shower was gigantic. The ceilings were high and the windows were very tall - felt like royalty.

The booking.com confirmation was a bit confusing because I interpreted it as breakfast was included in my stay (it wasn’t). I assumed that the hotel would have a pool on site. I expected that there would be more communication in the days leading up to my trip reminding me of the amenities available at the hotel, where to park, etc. (I’m used to airbnbs where you get a long check-in message.)

We did not avail ourselves of the Continental breakfast. The meals we did have ( lunch and dinner, were exceptional). We arrived very late ( 8:30 PM) but the restaurant cooked a delicious full meal for us even though it was nearly closing time. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room and the hotel were amazing both to look at and stay in with everything we needed, a comfortable bed, a kitchenette and the best towels and a stand in shower ( no tub to step into) appreciated by 2 very senior guests. I could go on... for a small town hotel your place is amazing. Who wouldn't want to stay in an art gallery for the night...

The pillows were lovely but too large and not soft enough. The lack of a window in our room was a bit disconcerting so we will have to book a different room the next time. Really " what's not to like"

This is truly a unique hotel (in the best sense)! It has so many interesting collections spread throughout the halls and in each room. We stayed in the library room with high ceilings, ornate tin ceiling and book cases - the nicest room we've ever stayed in for the reasonable price. Very clean with large walk-in shower in the bathroom. We appreciated counter space for toiletries. The staff is very helpful.

The hotel was nice and very trendy, cool decor. Very clean, and the staff were very attentive and nice. The room size was good also. The continental breakfast was very nice and adequate until lunchtime. Room rate moderately priced. I loved that all calls made within the U.S. were free when using their telephone.

The location of the hotel was not near many walkable eateries. The mattress was not comfortable at all.

Hotel is great and has a real homely feel! Rooms are super cool and extremely clean and tidy! I have been there half a dozen times and I have always gotten a different room which is great!

My bed wasn't nearly as comfy as it usually is and the room was close to a train track. I have not experienced that before. Not sure if they gave me the less liked room due to the fact I booked it on Booking.com This has happened twice lately when booking this way....you may want to look into it "booking.com"

I was awestruck at my room, 210 Easy Rider. I took so many pictures and then sent them to my friends in Ottawa. The mattress was awesome. I was fascinated by the shower head. So cool. The hotel is totally RETRO. I could not stop taking photos and again shared with friends. I will be making a book of all my pics from there.

There was some kind of noise like a thump followed by two thumps every 2-3 minutes apart. I just put a pillow over my ear. I did not like the pillows as they were too soft for my liking. Maybe if two were soft and two were firm then there would be a choice.

We really enjoyed the uniqueness of this hotel, each room is different themed, the restaurant attached to the hotel is well worth a visit, we had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious

We had a very loud large group of people partying in the room next to us, they did finish up soon after 11pm, we still loved our stay and this did not affect view of the hotel

Absolutely an excellent stay at such a unique location, that I don't know anywhere in the states you could find. Super clean, large suites, with friendly staff, even with our very late check in. Downtown location is perfect, many small stores and sight seeing / parks with in walking distance, including a brewery, coffee, book store and banking locations.

The dinner and breakfast on site was excellent. Great food, great service. Enjoyed the retro decor throughout the hotel and our room. pillows and bedding were marvellous! Location is superb!

we were in the Spring Fling Room. We would have enjoyed having a window. The mattress could use updating.
