The hotel itself was beautiful, with amazing amenities, and my overall experience was positive. However, I was disappointed when I requested extra towels for my room with a jacuzzi and was denied, being told there was a strict "two towels per room" policy. For a hotel at this price point, I would expect more flexibility, especially considering the extra amenities in the room. Additionally, while the staff were professional, there’s room for improvement in customer service. Resolving small but important guest needs like this would go a long way in elevating the experience. Otherwise, everything else about the stay was fantastic.

We stayed at Labor Day at two beds cottage. The room was spacious for 3 of us. Beds were comfortable and linens white. Kitchen was equipped with caps, plates and pans. The room had oven, microwave and full-size refrigerator. Room and linens were very clean. We could swim in the lake, but it is not recommended for small kids, It gets deep immediately close to the shore.

Drywall patching inside closet was not done properly and cement around overflow drain in bathtub was done very inaccurately (at least to be sanded) and it spoiled the whole impression of this nice room room.

Fantastic location, whether you want to lounge by the lake, go kayaking, take a short drive to Algonquin park or the opposite way to Huntsville, everything is a stones throw away. Great location, tranquil atmosphere. Very nice.

The only draw back was the wifi was non-existent, not the end of the world but I would have liked to have some music. Room slightly dated, but manageable.

Our room was spacious, and we had a large patio with an attached dock leading out onto the lake. Was perfect for kayaks and water toys. Was a nice peaceful area. Small beach front with a fireplace. Good location with all amenities within 20 min drive. Peaceful even with construction on the deck.

Beach front was a bit of a mess when we arrived, so we straightened it out and rebuilt the fire pit. Deck and docks being rebuilt while we were there, not that it is a bad thing, just poor timing, I guess. I'm definitely pleased to see them putting work into this resort. Would like to see a better menu for the restaurant and longer hours. The room does not have its own coffee machine, which was a bit disappointing. Beds were pretty stiff, although it was great for me, my partner preferred a softer bed.

Lovely welcome, beautiful setting. Right on the edge of Algonquin Park - only 10 minute drive. We went out of season and although it seemed a bit pricey for what we were getting it was in line with all the surrounding accommodation. Beds were very comfy!!

Completely appreciate that we went out of season and that things may not have been ready for when they get busy but in such a beautiful setting the outdoor furniture could be improved a bit to fully enjoy the views

While the property appears somewhere between rustic and run-down, the actual room (#4 in the lodge) was beautiful and clean and there was a digital large screen TV, a fridge and microwave. The dock and complimentary row boats need attention and make a very bad impression but the beach was adequate and the available bbq's were good. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

The outward first impression is quite rundown but I "don't judge a book by its cover". Too may people make that mistake. Restaurant could offer better options.

The room was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and quiet. We had been flooded out of our campsite and were delighted to trade our soggy tent and wet sleeping bags for this beautiful room. The young couple who managed the Inn were delightful.

We paid extra for a room with a jacuzzi, but sadly, the jacuzzi is not usable. When we filled it with water, the water was a red, rusty color, probably full of iron from rust in the old pipes. I Googled bathing in water contaminated with large amounts of iron, and apparently, it is unsafe to bathe in it.

Private and secluded. Large room. Love the tub. Kind and friendly staff. Got us what we needed when we asked.

Hot water ran out when we wanted to use the tub. Some of the walls were not clean. I understand the colouring of the water but would prefer clear tub water. Some things could be updated/painted.

Loved the lakeside view and our room was clean and bright. You can tell they are working hard to update this location, but for the price and location, we loved it. The beds were very hard and is my only complaint. The food was okay, but the Boiler Room just 5 mins from this location was incredible and we went back 3 times. This Inn is for the location and views hands down.

The bedding was very hard. The AC was loud and was fully painted outside so the function of the AC was limited. $20 for a burger and fries was quite steep in my opinion, but we were the only ones in the restaurant, so it was nice of them to open the kitchen and make our food. We should have gone elsewhere, but it was fine.

Room super clean, back to river side with picnic facilities, great experience watching stars at night.

Scent left by the cleaning agent. I can't handle any non-nature scent. We had to left doors open for hours to decrease the scent but still ens up with running nose.
