Overall we had a very nice 2-night stay. The hotel is easy to find - especially coming into the city from the south and was conveniently located. The front-desk staff greeted us warmly and had us quickly checked in with only one minor hiccup. The ambience in the lobby was warm and inviting. The room was clean, comfortable, and fairly quiet given its close proximity to the hospital. The breakfast area was cozy and inviting and we were warmly greeted each morning. Although there wasn't a large selection of hot food it was more than adequate for our needs.

The only recommendation I would give is that the carpeting in the hallways need a good cleaning/shampooing. It wasn't that they looked dirty, although there were a few obvious stains here and there, it was the slightly musty odour they gave off. I do realize that keeping any flooring clean at this time of year is difficult but for me it took a little away from an overall pleasant stay.

Close to the hospital, our main reason for choosing this hotel, making visiting easy. The staff are welcoming, helpful and cheerful. We liked the fact that a hot breakfast was included and other food options were available to purchase. A guest kitchenette, coffee available in the lobby and fridge in the room were very useful. Beds were comfy, room very well equipped and clean. Definitely recommended if you are able to take the short walk to the hospital, and leave your vehicle parked at the hotel.

Depending on the room location, you might hear the very noisy helicopter as it arrives/departs from the hospital helipad. The heating system is also rather noisy.

Located across the street from Science North and down the street from a Perkins restaurant for a full serve breakfast. The room had everything we could want, including very comfortable beds and pillows. The TV had a good variety of channels. The room was quiet and had a good assortment of complimentary soaps, gels, and shampoo. The extra counter, mirror, and outlets outside the bathroom were very handy. The hotel breakfast had scrambled eggs, toast, muffins, sausage, bacon, yogurt, apples, and oranges. It wasn't fantastic, but it was all right. The room was quiet, and the blackout curtains worked well. The hotel is beside the hospital. It would be perfect for families or patients. We heard no sirens or the helicopter, so it did NOT add noise to our room.

The breakfast has no juice or milk and weak coffee. The tub is quite slippery. It's literally the first time in my life I found one slippery. I actually looked for a rubber bath mat. My husband thanked me for warning him because he also found it slippery. We had no complaints otherwise.

We have stayed at this property many times over the past 10 years. It is always very comfortable . The rooms are clean and well equipped with coffee and tea station as well as a mini refrigerator. The location is convenient and close to the downtown area and the New Sudbury shopping mall. . .

We have always requested a room on the ground floor and have been accommodated. On this last visit our room was located on the second floor even though we had requested ground floor at the time of booking. When asked why, the response was that they were fully booked.

The hotel is comfortable, clean and has breakfast included. The staff were above and beyond friendly. I forgot a corkscrew and expected the front desk staff to bark at me and say they didn't have one like the previous hotel I stayed at in Sudbury (which was also dirty) but they did and were lovely :).

It is located close to the hospital which you can hear ambulance sirens. In addition, across the street is a large field in which there are games, etc. Not a deal breaking but just not in a quiet spot - more of a convenient busy spot.

We liked pretty much everything about our room and the hotel, by and large. It was in the best location for a charming walk along Ramsay Lake, that we found available (in a hotel). The beds were extremely comfortable, and the TV offered the music we liked, but not as many channels as was possible, but, we didn't come to watch TV, mostly. We got to park very close to our room and had a nice view of Science North and associated property/landscape. The lounge area off the lobby was exceptionally comfortable for catching a break with quietness, serene northern views of birch trees, ancient rocks, and clear blue skies, while we were there.

The breakfast was pretty lame/mediocre/limited, but seemed and tasted fresh (if not especially tasty) and did the job, served in a lovely room with plenty of charm. More TV channels, and maybe a restaurant (with a bar) on site could have made things more interesting and convenient, as the food in Sudbury didn't seem especially good (up to a higher standard, as what we've come to know and appreciate) wherever we went..

The hotel is across the street from the Science Museum, one of the key highlights of the trip. I like the lounge with comfortable chairs and board games where we have a good time with the kids.

Room service was not exactly reliable, and when it was it seemed not to clean the room completely. The chairs and the desk in the room could have benefited from tightening (3 minutes with a screwdriver). Sorry I did not bring tools for a leisure trip.

Everything was fine, except when we went for breakfast the first morning we were given paper plates and basically told to take it to go as there was a tour group. Maybe next time advise other guests of this the night before and have breakfast ready for them 10-15 minutes earlier. I had to leave for an event without having had breakfast, that was a bummer. The coffee is awful, consider a darker roast. It sort of tastes like coffee flavoured water. Otherwise everything was great!

No breakfast first day due to huge tour group (and basically being told we couldn't eat in the breakfast area. Horrible coffee.

The hotel seemed to be well looked after. It looked clean and well organized. The room was spacious, so was the bathroom. Breakfast was good. The breakfast room was vey nice and clean. Wifi and TV worked well. The bed was comfortable. The location was good for us. Ramsey Lake is in walking distance. A restaurant for supper was also in walking distance. Perking the car as no problem.

As the hospital is close it could get noisy as emergency vehicles or helicopters might come to bring patients. Unexpected temporary noise caused probably by plumbing was addressed to the reception. The hotel would look after that.

Great for a one day stop in Sudbury on a bigger trip to visit to Science North. Friendly enough staff and clean fresh rooms and common areas. Our first room had a crazy noisy bathroom fan but they were able to move us across the hall immediately. Continental breakfast was ok, if a bit limited in selection.

Nothing particularly special for a $200 one night stay. No pool. Asked if we could do a late check out, and was told that they don't do it, even though it says that it is possible on the Travelway website. It was midweek and the hotel was clearly not full so not sure what it wasn't an option. Wanted to do laundry since this was in the middle of larger trip but it closes at 9PM and staff would let me start a load at 840PM because of that. Some flexibility would have been appreciated.
