Wonderful little motel. It had all I needed for a 2 night stay with plenty of room to set up a work desk, and lots of coffee. The owners (I'm sorry I'm gapping on names) were lovely. Very helpful with local recommendations.

Maybe it was the time of year I was there, but the 2 local eateries were closed so I had to trek to Little Current for dinner. Elect system seems to be borderline over loaded as I did lose a breaker for a couple hours when the motel was filling up in the evening.

Sparkling clean !!! Keep your housekeeping crew. Updated modern decor in a beautiful quiet little town. Close to everything on the island. We walked to the beach and the museum . There is a coffee shop we did not stop in because we had wonderful coffee in our room which suited us fine. The handy BBQ, refrigerator, microwave and kettle were wonderful additions. Oh and there is air conditioning too . We took a good long walk both evening and morning. Kind owners with a big smile on their faces greeting you always. The owner suggested SAUCYS for breakfast- the pancakes and bacon were excellent & at a great price. They also sell homemade breads, buns, & preserves. We took some to our friends that we were visiting. Amazing!!!! Staff was not as friendly at Saucys though.

The pillows were too hard. I just could not get comfortable. Having a set of cutlery and maybe a plate would have been a nice addition, but certainly not expected since we did bring breakfast items. A good thing we stopped for dinner as soon as we got to the island because everything closes at 6pm or doesn't open at all on Sunday. This would have been most appreciated if posted on the website. Sort of a "HEADS UP- eat in LITTLE CURRENT AT .... THEY ARE OPEN . Otherwise this place is a perfect cozy country inn everyone should stay in.

Betty Ann and her staff were friendly and very helpful especially Betty Ann as she literally co piloted me into their location.

Your outside sitting /garden area is beautiful but it would be great if you had a covered area to sit outside in the rain and be dry. Complementary umbrellas for guests would be nice to be able to do the walking tour when it’s raining.

The room was very clean; we brought food so the small fridge was ideal; we barbecued our chicken at the bbq and sat on the lovely patio to eat. I would highly recommend this to my friends

The coffee pals were not replenished each day, or was there any decaf alternative ( which is my preferred beverage) or tea or creamer/ milk pods

This was a lovely little motel, better than I expected. The rooms were spotless though the pillowcases had some tiny stains but we were assured that they were clean and given the cleanliness otherwise, I would believe it. The beds were comfortable and I was surprised at the little extras like a microwave and a small fridge. The neighborhood was very quiet. There was a nice outdoor seating area with a gas grill guests can use.

This property is not beach front. The beach is several blocks away and cannot even be seen from the property. Shades on the windows to block the lighting, better pillows (reminded me of hospital pillows), better lighting in the area with the coffee maker. It would have been nice to have a working ceiling fan, the chain was missing and it would have been nice to have a bit larger TV for these old eyes. I also think that it was a bit pricey for the location, nothing local to really see or do.

It is well maintained place...very clean and minute details have been thought about. Proximity to gas station/LCBO/Freshmart is 2 mins drive. There is a courtyard space with a grill and the owner we met Betti- ann is very friendly and goes the extra mile. Definitely a must stay when in Manitoulin. I was there with family and in laws for 2 nights and we were very pleased.

Wifi could be a bit better, but maybe thats how avg speed is

Quiet, good light for reading, windows that opened, overhead fan, separate area for fridge, microwave and coffeemaker, nice size table with chairs for eating meals, a bench big enough to put two suitcases on. Also, the owners were very responsive to needs and friendly.

Room was on the small side but manageable.

The extremely friendly, helpful Hosts and Staff. Betty Ann went above and beyond to help us out when we let her know that we'd come expecting to be in a self-catering unit - completely our mistake as we have a different definition of "kitchenette" in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 . We expected a kitchen sink and dishes, cutlery etc.

Doesn't apply as we managed with the Host's help.

It was exceptional right from the welcome! Big comfortable room with a delightful patio beside our room! Something we’ve never seen before…the rag bag! Stained or torn, but CLEAN, clothes to wipe up spills! Fantastic idea! Lots of hot water, reasonable location, and quiet location!

Didn’t know most restaurants were closed Monday and Tuesday - 🥴

A lovely spot on Manitoulin Island. The room was comfortable, well appointed with a microwave, kettle and coffee maker. Betty-Anne was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. And bonus, we were able to plug in our electric vehicle into a 120v outlet to supplement our charge for the day. The chairs just outside our room were great for enjoying the ambiance.

It was all great!
