The motel is conveniently located on the edge of town. You're within a few minutes drive of food and other amenities South River has to offer. The rooms are older, but are clean, and the daily linen and towel changes are nice. The shower is hot, and I did not run out of water. I found the room quiet, and the bed was comfortable with a nice selection of pillows. I was using a queen room while I was in town for two days. Both days I stayed, it felt safe and secure. I will definitely choose to stay here again if my travels bring me back to South River.

My friend and I were planning on arriving quite late, so I called in advance and let them know. The staff generously left our key in a location that was safe and we could access it whenever we arrived! The bathroom and room was clean, just like the photos. The bed and sheets were super comfy. In a quiet and remote part of town.

Some people wouldn't like that the furniture and overall design of the room was outdated, but I didn't mind. Not great shampoo and conditioner so if you forgot to bring yours, it would be better to just go without.

The owners were so friendly. We could park our car right outside our room. The bed was soft and comfortable. The water pressure was good. There was a desk, a couple of chairs, a fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker. Location was ideal for our needs (hockey tournament in Sundridge). Easy to reach from highway 11. Price was very fair and far more affordable than the name brand hotels in Huntsville. It was quite a big room, too. Drinks & treats for sale in the lobby.

Nice people, clean, comfortable bed. It's within reasonable distance of Algonquin and other parks, without having to pay the high-season prices of closer motels. Make sure to visit Screaming Heads (free) when you're in this area.

Keep in mind you're in the middle of nowhere. South River doesn't have much going on, but you can get the basics. Burk's Falls is not that far away if you really need (a bit) more.

Always a great stay, the motel is VERY clean, beds are comfortable, wifi can be spotty but its normally very good, the people who own this motel are very friendly, this is our go to stay when we come to Sundridge to visit our kids.

Nice owner offered coffee, friendly and welcome atmosphere, pretty clean and no unpleasant scents. Pretty fair for the price. Close to the gas station and nice small restaurant.

The shower didn't work properly.

Super clean and comfortable, we stayed room 1, loved the room, we have been here a few times when we come to visit our children in Sundridge. Nice staff, great wifi and TV, beds are very comfortable, lots of hot water.

Owners are super friendly and accommodating, they let us leave our truck and trailer for a few days while we did our RAN Snowmobile tour. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.

We have stayed here in the past and will likely stay again. Love this little motel!

The a/c didn't work too well but it wasn't too hot out.
