Breakfast was good with very helpful friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Large comfortable room. No outside noise. Spotlessly clean.

Area outside the hotel and underground parking lot felt unsafe because of dubious characters under the influence of alcohol. I refused to get into the elevator because of two men under the effects of alcohol. One had a cut on his neck and the other was carrying a bottle. The came through the lobby to get to the elevator.

Beautiful location express check in fantastic staff --- Breakfast preserved rooms spacious looking forward to staying there in the future. Quite close to the Timmins Hospital. To get to your rooms your card acces is needed to start the elevator security measures awesome.

Nothing staff helped me enter and exit the motel I am disabled with a walker and this really helped me getting to and from taxi trips.

My wife and I were very surprised with the quality of the breakfast. We had expected the usual bagels, muffins, and cereal in a serve yourself setting. Instead we were seated and served a nice cooked breakfast of eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, and I believe the toast was made from home made bread. Plus all the drinks and sides that would come with a breakfast. :)

I wish the keypad at the entry in the parking garage was working. But they were able to buzz us in if we pressed the ringer.

Just needed a place to stay as we were working in Timmins, everything exceeded our expectations for the price. The breakfast was excellent and all staff were kind and helpful. We decided to play some pool and found a pool hall 180m away so we walked and were able to have a beer as well. Already mentioned it to friends. We need a follow up trip in 2 weeks and will be definitely staying a the Senator

Can't really say anything we didn't like, the building is under renovations and the main street was dug up but that is no refection on the Hotel.

Senator is a very fine hotel that is starting to show age, but still a good place to stay. Overall good facility and good service. It would be an excellent choice for someone travelling on business, or if looking for a solid quiet room in the city. Breakfast choices and service were excellent. Having underground parking is nice, and would be important in Timmins in the winter.

The downtown location may not be preferable for some guests. I had to drive some distance to find a good restaurant and location for hiking. City works interfered with access to parking and front entry.

A little bit too far from the airport ( $30-$35 by taxi), no shuttle bus service, the phone doesn't work in the room, the AC is too noisy, and regular breakfast is included with a free smile service. The building itself looks like from the 60th, not new. The fee shouldn't be more than $100.00, nice view from the window, lol Food shopping in the area: Metro store + good selection of wine/ beer, Shopper Drug Mart, Wendy's restaurant, Little Caesar Pizza, Tim Horton's, and Starbucks.

Ideally situated down town and close to a variety of stores. The building is getting older and is in need of a little revamp. Garage is large and access is easy unless you have a larger vehicle but there is parking behind the building which is more than adequate.

The road construction made it difficult for me to drive around the building to access the parking but that will go in time. The bathroom was not the cleanest which was unfortunate as the room was very comfortable.

I liked that the staff was very accommodating when we ran into some other guests who seemed to be aggressive towards us.

The countless sketchy looking people in and around the hotel, and the two girls when we first arrived in the first room that seemed aggressive about us staying across the hall. The air Conditioner also was terrible !!! We woke up sweating and it was on! There was no difference between high fan and low fan, was low for both and it was sweltering hot and so uncomfortable!

Great positive atmosphere security card to use elevator 10+ to keep out vandals. Breakfast is served on the 1st level room cards are checked then you are saved breakfast quite nice great staff allarounnd.

Bathtub quite low along with toilet not set up for people with disabilities. Had to hand wash otherwise 10 +.

The staff members were excellent and friendly. The price was great. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were clean.

The bed leg was broken, but my husband was able to stabilize it. There was a decent fitness room, but would love to see some dumbells in there. The parking area was a bit scary as there were vagrants in the area and the key card never worked to get into the hotel from the parking lot so it was a bit unsettling being out there.
