The breakfasts were great. The location is spectacular. The rooms are well-done.

As a solo traveler, I found that they didn't have enough food choices for just one person. For example, they had a "gourmet basket," but that was enough food for about 4 to 5 people. I found the portions too big and too expensive. I chose to go into Ayer's Cliff and eat at a pub type place which was affordable. I felt I had to ask for everything, including how to use all of their smart devices, like washer, dryer, stove and dishwasher not to mention the heating and cooling systems. There was not enough information about any of these things or how to rent a kayak. They could be laid out much more clearly.

Wonderful weekend at Ripplecove. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The amenities for activities, including electric bikes, paddle boards and pédalo, were such a fun addition. While the service was a bit slow at the restaurant, the view, the food and the service were worth the wait. Loved our balcony and taking our coffee while the lake was quiet in the morning. We both enjoyed our massages at the spa, which was intimate and a lovely experience.

There was a little water issue in our room, but once raised, the reception assured us they would look into it. While the electric bikes were great, some were defective. We informed the front desk and hopefully they were fixed or removed.

The room with the view. The building, the jaccuzzi, the quietness and the fireplace inside the room. You hear nothing only the birds and well I love old buildings and this one kept the charm of old times. The staff was awesome and Alexandre even told us about the place who was it for and so on. The room was clean and of a perfect size

The renovation. Unfortunately the main building is under construction. And the first night we had like a roar noise in the bedroom. I was tired so I didn't notify the reception only the day after. But the staff was efficient and offered another room. I would suggest bigger signs to indicate the facilites. The restaurant is really expensive for what you have in the plate but after a working day it's good not to drive to find another place.

Very spectacular location and building. Quiet location on a cove at the end of a lake. Very peaceful. Rooms were well appointed and comfortable with old fashioned charm. Lovely pool, and small private beach. Able to use paddle boats, surf boards, etc. Nice dining room with outside deck looking over the lake.

For an expensive spa, no gym facilities. Tennis court being repaired. Dining options were limited. Meals in dining room were expensive, especially for dinner which had $95 table d'hôte. Breakfast was delicious and had options with prices more in line with most good hotels ($10-$35). Not all rooms had a balcony overlooking lake.

Beautiful lakeside setting. Room very comfortable and the balcony was a delightful place to sit and gaze onto the lake. We had not reserved a lakeside room and felt fortunate and grateful to be upgraded. We also appreciated the ease of using the lake and accessing the equipment. And the service was responsive and friendly.

Dining on by the lake was wonderful and elegant, but the food was inconsistent and didn't quite live up to the setting. While it didn't detract from our experience, the bathroom is oddly configured with an enormous amount of space for the toilet and shower, but a small sink area. Also, there is only one place to hang one towel.

Hotel and room were beautiful, loved all the facilities. The room was amazing, clean and had everything we needed. Location was beautiful. Loved the different lounge areas, everything was cosy, clean and well furnished. Decor and vibe were a perfect match for the fall setting. Overall we had a wonderful stay and hope to return soon!

Only issue we had was that some of the staff seemed inexperienced and the check in experience was very basic so we didn’t get a good understanding of the resort and all the available facilities. We did our own exploring so luckily found the beautiful rooftop hot tubs and different seating areas but felt there was lacking information like a hotel map or details on the different services available. We also wanted to enjoy the bar area for pre-dinner cocktails (it is such a beautiful space) but the bar staff was not really present or welcoming and the bar area was often dirty.

A marvelous hotel, professionally run in an idyllic location. The staff are among the best I have experienced. Two fireplaces in the bar and another in a reading room on the main floor are welcoming and a make for a pleasant place for a glass of wine, to read or simply enjoy the view of the lake. There are guest rooms with fireplaces, although we were not in one of these rooms. The restaurant is deserving of its high rating. The food and service are excellent. I awarded 5 stars to all categories except "room" where I awarded 4. The only reason for this was a rather small bathroom. There are rooms with large, spa like bathrooms. We opted for a price point that meant a smaller, older style bathroom.

Can't thing of anything. An amazing hotel.

- location - view on the lake - bar with terrace - restaurant with heated terrace - quietness - service : accommodating and helpful - room number 9 is the best! much better value than other rooms in this category - quality of breakfast and dinner - parking - bedding quality and size - great bathroom (2 sinks, bathtub and shower) but only in room 9 - great room amenities - great wine list - real hot chocolate ! (milky and chocolaty)

- no black out curtains , was broad day light before 6 - no freshly pressed juices at breakfast - no bread / fresh baguette served at breakfast - could not go to spa to enquire about services as they close when there is no appointment - limited vegetarian options - no fridge

The location is amazing, the restaurant is very good with a fantastic terasse. Great sunset views very clean pool with indoor shower, towels love the new terasse and jacuzzi always available SUP and kayaks nice and clean room very relaxing stay clean entry into the lake for aquatic activities

To be improved: The SUPs need to be better inflated, most probably they were inflated at the beginning of the season broken paddles that will not keep the height Returning customers (we have been there 3 times this year) not acknowledged (contrary to Manoir Hovey)

The Ripplecove Hotel is a beautiful and scenic location. We loved that we could take a boat out on the lake, especially as it was so quiet. The hotel itself is very pretty and clean. The Reception staff were welcoming and brilliant throughout our stay. Always on hand to be helpful and friendly.

The bar did not have a regular staff member and it was very difficult to get anyone from the restaurant to help us. When we eventually did, we saw that there was a bar menu that was served between 2pm and 9pm. Later that day, we thought we would sit in the bar and order from the bar menu. However, when we finally managed to speak to the maitre d', he told us that we couldn't order from the bar menu and that if we wanted drinks and food, we should head into town. Which is what we did in the end. It was a shame as we were looking forward to enjoying the scenery with food (we didn't want a big meal). When we spoke to reception, we were told the bar was open 7 days a week, so it was a tad confusing. The rest of the stay was brilliant however.
