The breakfast was good and the hotel was very clean

We were extremely upset that we were not given a rubber mat for the shower. My daughter fell, hurt her neck and has a hug bruise on her buttocks. She also had a severe headache. It was an adamant no with regards to the mat. We asked for a refund for the third day of our stay because we would not be there. Then we got a note saying that they would not fully refund me. My son-in-law is extremely upset and is thinking of suing. We lost one day of our vacation because of negligence. We deserve our money back and then some. I do not usually complain but this time it is warranted.

The staff at the front counter were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is very good and much appreciated. Location just off the Trans Canada highway is very convenient.

1. The deadbolt lock in for my room door (Room 304) would not close - the bolt is misaligned and will not fit in the hole in the door jam. 2. There was a booger stuck on wall on the left side of the bed left from a previous guest. Kinda gross. 3. The TV remote would not turn the TV on or off. After turning the TV on using the button on the side of the TV, the remote will change channels and volume.

We like the place we like the location of it and the breakfast is pretty good also. We go there every year on our way to Nova Scotia back.

But as of now we will not be staying at this hotel anymore. I cannot believe that they charged $50 for our little 8 pound Morkie dog who does not bark and is a very good behaved dog. I understand about charging something for a pet but not $50. Take into consideration what the animal is, that is ridiculous. Also, Booking.com needs to put that in there ad for the motels that they charge $50 for a dog before we book, don’t tell me after I’ve already booked and I can’t cancel it that I have to pay $50 for this dog. So as of now, we will not be staying there anymore.

The motel is advertised as pet-friendly. AT NO POINT when booking, checking in OR CHECKING OUT, was there any indication of an extra cost for a pet. However, after leaving the motel, we noticed a separate, extra credit card charge of $50 (WHICH WE HAD NOT AUTHORIZED) for our little dog. It seems 'sneaky'/ underhanded, as well as excessive ... almost a 55% charge over the original cost for a room for 3 humans! Had we known, we might have changed plans or looked for a different motel. We were going to use this motel in about a week on the return journey, but will now look for a different motel. We have often stayed at this motel over the years & been very happy with it up till now.

Extremely good value for money. Pleasant, efficient staff...appreciated the fact that the reception staff spoke very good English--a definite plus for me and my "Frenglish"! Various restaurants nearby. Pleasant biking/hiking trails along nearby river. Large clean room. Good breakfast.

Beds were very firm...which might be a plus for other travellers. A bridge to Quebec was closed--apparently has been most of summer--which led to serious traffic backups coming into Levis from both directions on the 20.

The location worked well for us as we were on our way to New Brunswick. Close to the highway, and easy to get to. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and lots of choice. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We did try out the pool and spa and found the spa not hot enough and quite strong with chlorine smell. Not unusual for hotel spas unfortunately. The pool on the other hand was too chilly to enjoy. If you are wanting to explore Levis or take the ferry across to Old Quebec, this is a little too far removed to be convenient.

Breakfast was simple but complete. All the amenities you would expect were available. The premises are pretty and comfortable. The staff was super nice and bilingual.

The hotel is a bit far from downtown Levis There was a mysterious stain on the bathroom wall, the hair dryer stinks There is no easy way to fill the clothing iron as it is taller than the sink, and the ironing board needs fixing as the cover doesn't stay on. Outlets are not easily accessible by the bed, I had to move furniture. Although a solid hotel where you'll get a good, safe, comfortable night's sleep, it was a little pricey for what it offered.

Wonderful facility. We appreciated the carts available at the front door so that we could transport our luggage to our room. The room was comfortable and quiet. A good restaurant, Mike's, is within walking distance. The breakfast in the morning definitely met our needs.

We were on the second floor and the elevator was slow at peak times. We noticed a sound just inside our door, like a washing machine. We did not report this, and it did not disturb our sleep.

Everything was as expected for an overnight stay. Have stayed at this hotel before and knew what I was getting. Hotel is in a good locale - lots of restaurants within an easy walk. Grocery store right up the street for travel needs. Hotel was right off the TCH - so easy access to and from. comfy beds and no road noise.

Could have used an extra waffle maker at the breakfast. Pool was a bit cool and hot tub was very murky - more swamp than relaxing!

It is not the first time we stop here. We like the location, we like the breakfast. Kids especially love the wafers machine and the breakfast overall - eggs, sausages, yogurts, cereals, bread and bagels with spreads, juices, tea/coffee/cacao, some pastry.

The swimming pool water wasn't transparent at all. I do not know how people even dare to swim in there! Breakfast area lacks waste bins - they are constantly overloaded. You can easily come to a breakfast in the period when there's no so much to eat - they do replenish the meals, but sometimes you'll have to wait 20 minutes for that. Windows are to the highway side. When they are closed it is quiet in the room, but not enough oxygen (at least with 4 people it wasn't good enough), if you open the window - it would be too noisy. There is an EV charger, but it costs $4/h with just Level 2 charge (7kW)! That's too expensive!
