This was one of the best places we have stayed in as we make our roadtrip around the Gaspésie. We walked on the trails near the resort and found ourselves surrounded by a beautiful alpine setting. The trails we went on took us up the mountain sides and along fabulous rivers, streams, and waterfall. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful - and friendly. The food was amazing. The room was very comfortable.
It isn't the fault of the resort, but this place is in a region where phones don't work. The WiFi is strong, which allows for Internet connections. But no SMS or phone connections.

The exceptional location close to trails. The scenery.
There is no place on the ground floor of the hotel to just sit (lounge). The food of the bistro is not up to the place. There are too many fries and fried food. TV image quality is very bad. There is no English channel on TV (except Netflix, etc, but you have to have a subscription). We had a serious issue with our air cooler. The guy came three times before we were finally changed of room.

Nice location
We asked rooms near each other. But room was on the 1st floor and on the 3rd floor. So as far as they could be. We were at the hotel only to sleep, so I do t see why we had to pay 38$ for the park we did not even visit? No one told us BEFORE WE ARRIVED we had to pay extra. If you plan to stay in the area and see the park it’s a good place to be. But just sleeping for the night …. No. Way too much.

Amazing location and the hotel is gorgeous. Beautiful bistro, and the Gaspesie Park trails are all nearby. Very comfortable bed, and our room had a nice view of trees and the mountains.
We were disappointed to find out when we arrived that our room was not in the main hotel building, but in the pavillon building behind the hotel. The room was fine, but we should have been informed of this detail at the time of booking, especially given the high price point. The pavillon building floors creak quite badly, so I was woken at 7 am by the sound of people walking in their room above ours. The breakfast was, in my opinion, overpriced for what it was.

The restaurant served us such an amazing set dinner, served by the ever-so-friendly Matthew, that we are still talking about it! The location in the forest is relaxing and we were able to go on a hike to the waterfalls which we really enjoyed seeing. The room we had was good with a nice view of the mountains and sunset over the tops of trees. The pool wasn't opened so we could not enjoy a swim.
The building that our room was in did not have an elevator so we did have to lift our luggage up the stairs.

We love the location, the surroundings were beautiful. Loved the fact that the hiking trails were so close by and the Saint Anne Waterfall trail was literally steps away from the front entrance of the hotel! The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had to take a cold shower after a hike in the late afternoon, apparently it could happen when most people are taking a shower around the same time before dinner! No kettle, however, the front desk told us to get it in the restaurant and the restaurant staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Attentive staff, comfortable and quiet room, ideal location (could walk to many of the trailheads). Great evening meals. Locally sourced cuisine. Attention to detail. Personalized service.
Expensive. (Didn't really mind because SEPAQ is a great organization.) Was expecting more interesting breakfasts with more variety.

Great location in Gaspesie National Park. big bedrooms with great mountain views. Boot dryer in the bedroom. very good food in the restaurant.
Wi-Fi in the Caribou Pavilion (where our bedroom was) very patchy and kept dropping out, unlike in the main hotel building where it was solid

Tremendous location, perfect place to stay and a brave to organise your excursions (which the hotel staff can help with!). Sauna after a long walk was marvelous.
It's pricy, but top value for the location, amenities, and wonderful staff

If you don't want to camp, staying at the Gite du Mont Albert is the way to go, especially if you wish to enjoy a beautiful place in a comfortable setting.
Add some simpler and less expensive items to the bistro menu (e.g., salad options)
