The location is great, it is near restaurants and pretty much anywhere you want to go. The Air conditioning was awesome, seeing as it was 30 degrees outside it was nice that it worked so well so we could sleep comfortably. It's nice and quiet and the easy access to the room was great for getting our dogs in and out quickly.
Could use more accessible outlets but otherwise it's great for the price point. The room could have used a better vacuum as my dogs were finding stuff and then trying to eat it, usually under the table or desk areas.

The location is very close to restaurants and the highway. The motel is clean and quiet. It’s also dog friendly with great areas to walk the dog.
The heat was still turned on in the room and we couldn’t turn it off. It has been too warm for constant heat. We opened the window and had the air conditioner running to keep the room cooler. Seems a little wasteful to have two opposing applicances going.

Close to downtown, close to restaurants, very friendly family vibe. Quiet at night, comfortable beds. The kitchenette was well equipped with a fridge big enough to freeze our cooler ice packs.
The bathtub wasn't scrubbed clean (grey build up) and there were a lot of small flies and mosquitoes in the room. We wanted to do laundry but the facilities were in use constantly. They need more machines to serve the size of the campground. The air-conditioner couldn't cope with very hot weather.

I love that I can take my dogs directly outside and not have to go through the hallways. It is close to a lot of amenities and the staff is friendly and the rooms were clean and quiet. I love that I have the option to cook myself a meal in the room.
When you drive in there is a sign that there is a 30km speed limit that is strictly enforced. There are people that I'm assuming live in the trailer court part that definitely don't follow the speed limit, which is a bit scary when you are out with your dog in the dark.

First, the lady who checked us in was very friendly. Then, I was surprised to find an actual kitchenette, with a two-burner stove, a fridge and a microwave. Dishes, flatware, and the means of washing the dishes was supplied also. The bed was super comfy, the water was hot, and the wifi was great. There was a nice green space behind the motel, with shade and picnic tables. Very nice!
There was no way to shut the heater off, so we had to turn on the wall fan full blast and open the window just to sleep in comfort. Still, that's more of an issue for the management's expenses than for clients.

Very comfortable beds, quiet even though right on the highway. The early check-in was wonderful, and the staff were awesome. Couldn't beat the price for a comfortable night stop. If you are looking for a 4 star, maybe not for you. But I will be sure to stay here again.
If I had to find something to complain about, it would be the lack of electrical outlets, especially for plugging in the microwave. But we made it work.

Room was comfy and clean. Easy on/off from the Trans Canada. We stayed at this location twice - once going west and again on the return trip. Good steakhouse up on the TCH, plus numerous fast food places within easy walking distance..
Don't let your first impression put you off. The motel could use some exterior sprucing up as maintenance wise it was somewhat lacking.

Right off Trans Canada. Clean. Everything worked. Malls and fast food nearby
TV cable box didn't at first. Took some time to sort out. One has to turn onto a service road to access the entrance. Noise from highway and vehicles entering the campground that's part of the place. Forgot the freezer gel packs for my cooler and they never contacted me.

The staff were so organized and accommodating to my late arrival. I showed up to my a/c on, the bedside lamp on and a clean, comfortable room to stay in. The facilities are well maintained and very clean. The beds are comfortable and I needed that after driving all day.
The plumbing is weird! I had to run the water for a long time before it got cool enough to have a shower and there was no way to fill up my water bottle with cold water. Sounds weird - and it was!

I liked that the room was clean and lots of places to walk my dogs. There were a lot of amenities nearby and the staff was friendly. Very close to major arteries and was easy to find.
There are a few updates that need to be done. The air conditioner was screwed in but not very well. The blinds did not work as far as I could tell.
