I've stayed here a few times before, and the main reason that I return is the property manager treats me with the utmost in respect and courtesy. The building is old, but very clean, and the location is excellent, being just a half block away from Tim Horton's, which is also an excellent business there in Swift Current. We actually stayed another night on our return trip, and he called me to confirm that we'd be there that evening. We were invited back anytime to stay at The Widus Inn, and we definitely will do that! Very pleasant experience it was.

I really couldn't have asked for more, honestly. Only that my wife now needs an accessible room, but I don't believe this is available at this location, so I help her as much as I can, mostly with bathroom routines. We travelled to Florida in 2008 by automobile, and stayed in numerous hotels along the way, so I'm very familiar with the hospitality industry throughout North America, and really can't fault this Widus Inn.

Property was great value for the budget minded. Facilities are older but room was clean comfortable and quiet and the staff friendly. Room had regular TV plus Roku channels, microwave and fridge with small freezer. Coffee, tea, water and ice available in the hallway and a small indoor putting green. Parking is right out your door, all rooms at ground level. Perfect for the traveler that doesn't need all the frills. There's a Tim's next door, many restaurants within a 2 minute drive and plenty of gas stations. Easy access to main highways in all directions.

If you're not fussy about a little bit of chipped paint there is absolutely nothing to complain about for the price.

This property is very well-managed. The proprietor was friendly, and very helpful to us. It's a bit hard to find this little motel, but it's one of the best places I've ever stayed at, and that's saying something, as my wife and I travelled down the east coast of the U.S. in 2008, and stayed in a wide variety of hotels along the way! There's no 4-course breakfast offered, but there was a modern coffee maker provided, a larger fridge than may places offer, and we found the beds very comfortable. Excellent value for what we spent, and we'll stay there again, next month!

What's that catchy phrase many people use these days..what's not to like?! I might sound over-enthusiastic about this property, but we were more comfortable here, than at many other places we've stayed at.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and rated it very highly. This week, we were here on Wednesday, and now we're back again, for a Saturday night stay before continuing our trip. A most enjoyable place for us to relax, and everything we need is in place for us.

I suppose there's always something to find fault with if you want to, but most hotels in Saskatchewan are much higher in price, so really, the value is very good here, we believe. The manager is having no trouble filling the rooms, so that's a good sign that people are wanting to stay here.

All rooms on ground floor; spacious room arrangement; fridge and microwave came in handy; very clean and excellent shower pressure.

There was a single hot plate and one pot in the room that looked very old and out of place with the rest of the amenities. As others have indicated, the room still has older carpet but that’s not a significant detractor.

As a big family of 6, We appreciate how big the space is. 2 queen size bed, big space for table and walk way to add for an extra bed. With free coffee, wifi and smart tv. You have nothing to complain for. And the price is very affordable.

I didnt see any problem with the facility. We really love everything about it

Our room was very nicely updated, spacious and clean, with everything we needed. While the building was small and unimpressive from the outside, we were pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was. Felt like a more expensive motel.

Should have a larger sign so it would be easier to see as we were arriving.

One floor level so could park right by your door. Had a fridge and microwave! Tea and coffee and cold water and ice facilities offered. Dog friendly. With some grass area around the Inn Comfortable queen bed eachxxx

Haßßd to pay an extra 10.00 to have the dog with us, but this was not mentioned in the advert I found.

The outside is not appealing but the inside is really nice and clean. it’s not regular clean like other affordable inn/motel but exceptionally clean. The check-in staff is super nice and happy to do anything he can to make you more comfortable. Simple arrangement in the room so it makes the room more spacious. my room also has a huge TV. location is also a plus, next to Tim Hortons and the highway. very convenient

The carpet is quite old so it’s not really clean. my husband and me + our cats kept sneezing the whole stay.

HO The shower was phenomenal. Incredible water pressure. Kurig Coffee, hot /cold Water dispenser and ice machine were all set up in the hallway and were very clean and convenient . Even a deep freeze if you needed to keep stuff froze . The bed was clean and very comfortable. Lots of choices for pillows . Had a bar fridge and microwave in our room which worked great . For an older motel you couldn't ask for better , clean , very quiet roomy. In a very good location as well . Right next to Tim Hortons and A&W. Minutes from Casino, a mall and liquor store . James the owner was very friendly and accommodating We will be back .

I would recommend covering the chairs in a vinyl cloth, so they could be wiped down easier . Some stains on them and a little dirty ....its minor ...but just a thought . Otherwise great hotel and an awesome bang for your buck .
