I stayed in the cabin which was a basic standalone cabin with a double bed and that's about it! But the bed was comfortable and the room was warm, which was what I needed after a lot of cold nights camping round Yukon and Alaska! The hostel is super friendly and has a well-equipped kitchen, dining room and upstairs a little living room. It's like staying with a good friend who has given you the run of their house for a few days. Walking distance to everything in Haines Junction, including the lovely Dezadeash trail.
It was a bit of a trek to get to the bathroom, and there are only two bathrooms for all guests. It relies on guests keeping things clean - some of them didn't seem to understand that (but that's not the property's fault! :-) )

This place is fantastic. We really appreciated all the amenities in the kitchen, easy access, perfect location and beautiful communal feel. Our team was gathering for the Kluane bike relay race and many individuals/teams were staying in the location. We loved talking with the staff and getting to know people from all over the world on this adventure. The cleanliness was fantastic and the hospitality, accessibility were top notch. Thank you so much!
The upstairs metal bunk bead frame was pretty squeaky and could use a little WD40 on the joints that hold it together. When one of our team members slept above us, anytime she moved or turned over it might quite a lot of noise.

Nice location in HJ. Decent parking space available. Beautiful shared spaces & well equipped kitchen.
Tents too close to one another. Spider webs everywhere on exterior of tents. Nothing a good sweeping down with a broom wouldn’t clean up nicely. Having travelled with a person with bug phobia…that could be a deal breaker!

The property is situated off of the highway and is fairly quiet. The shared kitchen is very clean and well organized. The view from the upstairs common room is excellent. There are some good restaurants and a bakery within walking distance of the property.
The bunkbed was a bit noisy and not super comfy. The pillow was small, so I was glad I had my own extra pillows.

The Wanderer’s inn is a hostel and we stayed in a tent in the backyard of the Inn. The best part was the diversity of people staying and the conversations around the dining table
I was initially concerned about being warm enough. An electric heater was provided for warmth

Nice common areas. Friendly staff. Great vibe. Wifi worked really well for the Yukon. Having a full kitchen is really nice.
The place needs a deep clean for sure, there was dog hair everywhere and I don't think anyone had ever swept under the bed. The price is a bit steep for what you get but you're paying to be in the Yukon.

Location, walking distance to the bakery, staff was friendly and helpful.
The camper parked right next to our wall tent ran their load heater all night. Ear plugs didn’t help. Would have been nice if they parked further away. There were spots elsewhere.

I love the hostel vibe - where you get to meet and chat with people from all over. Room and shared bathroom was clean and everything worked. Perfect location to explore the National Park.
Nothing.
