The room was very comfortable and clean and the minibar well equipped. Breakfast is ok, and the restaurant is fine, The hotel is not far from the West Lake, a very beautiful place, and near a metro station.

I had to wait half an hour after the check in time since the reoom was not ready. The basin is visible from the room, which was not a problem for me since I was alone, but it might be not so nice when sharing. The neighbourhood is not very interesting, except for the West Lake (at least 45 minutes walking). The room was supposed to have a view, but the only view was the neighbouring building.

This was a truly beautiful, wonderfully designed hotel with an exceptional staff (special shout-out to Tina at the front desk but everyone was SO helpful and kind. Best breakfast we’ve had in China! Loved the pool!! Bedrooms were beautifully appointed and designed, excellent on-site restaurant and bar. Best place to stay in Hangzhou!!

We liked the very nice design and style of the hotel. The rooms are very new and the breakfast including the coffee was great.

The pool area could be a little bit more stylish compared to the rest of the hotel.

Nice hotel design and good service

There are some design flaws to the interior design of the hotel room bathroom. There are no hooks to hang the towel and no ledge to put clean/ dirty clothes within the separate shower cubicle. The bathroom is an open design, so cannot put outside too. The shower floor tile is polished marble which is slippery when wet, making it high risk for slip, needing the extra bath rubber mat. The floor towel mat cannot be laid in place as the floor rubber stopper keeps pushing it away. The location of the basin tap lever results in wet table top due to dripping wet hands. Person using the basin will block person needing to use the separate WC 😂😂😂.

The staff were very genuine and helpful. The rooms and facilities looked new and minibar was well stocked and free! Breakfast was also pretty good with the hotel making an effort to change up some of the dishes every day.

The bathroom was an open concept with the basin right by the door when you enter. The area afforded little privacy even though there were doors to the toilet and the shower stall. You can basically hear everything that goes on. The wash area and beds are separated by see through glass and there are too many mirrored surfaces so things can get somewhat awkward if you're staying with friends or colleagues. My friend and I decided to get separate rooms after seeing the place, but otherwise it was a comfortable stay.
