The breakfast buffet is amazing - and the staff took the time to look after our dietary needs (coeliac). So I felt safe and supported food wise. The pool is amazing. The beach is good and feels safe. We walked back from a restaurant along the beachfront one night. there was a typhoon warning and then we got hit by storm rain and winds, but it felt safe and we still had fun.

the floors weren't mopped well - i bought my own mop in the end. because of design of the hotel (open air walkways to rooms), noise from other floors does travel. Also, dont open your front door if the balcony door is open - wind tunnel :-)

I liked that the staff was so accommodating and I'd like to mention a few by name that made my stay so special. Coco at the front desk helped me by taking my orders or special requests and arranging for me since some staff didn't speak English. She also helped me to book the didi home. Amanda was so accommodating, she worked near the restaurant and coffee shop. She was so very helpful and considerate of me and she even gave me water and snacks as I was leaving the hotel. I really appreciated it. Claude was great! He arranged for my spa appointment at a discount and was so helpful to me and even showed me around the gym, walked me to the elevator and outside near the beach. Such a nice person. Joy was great, she introduced me to a nearby nail salon and helped me to arrange an appointment to get a manicure and pedicure for my birthday. Overall I loved my stay here, you can hear the ocean from the room so clearly. The room was beautiful and clean. I'll definitely come back for another holiday.

The beach should be more well kept! There were big items washed ashore from the beach so it made it difficult to step in because it wasn't clean for walking or entering. Also it would be nice if they can have more English channels and an English movie channel. Most all choices were in Chinese.

Rooms were spacious. All rooms had a sea view and I enjoyed walking along the beach as it was clean. There was also a walking and biking track that went around the coastline. Pool was fabulous. Breakfast buffet had lots of options and was nice. Staff were very helpful, reception staff spoke English. Close to other restaurants and small supermarket if you need anything. I enjoyed it very much.

It was not clear how to hire the Hotel bikes and where you could ride them. Only their mountain bikes could go on the bike track. I am also not sure why they didn’t encourage beach swimming, as it was a sheltered bay, but that seems normal in China.

This was my second stay here and I enjoyed it. It was quiet and down the end of the beach away from the public area. The pool is lovely. Breakfast awesome. The size of the rooms is great and bed is so comfortable.

It’s not that I didn’t like it it was just hard to know that you could get drinks and snacks by the pool as there was no sign or anything letting you know this. We saw some other people get drinks and went an asked. Once we knew it was easy but we didn’t realise this on our first visit.

The place overall exceeded my expectations. Breakfast is quite nice, but dinner buffet is exceptionally good. Best buffet I ever had in China at a holiday place, only probably exceeded by Ritz Carlton Guangzhou. Chinese restaurant also very nice.

Immediately at check in, a notice on the desk: "beach closed for maintenance"....... We didn't come only for the beach, but I would have really liked to enter the sea. The check in lady politely pointed out our phone number on the reservation form, asking if it was correct, claiming the hotel "had SMS us about that". Nothing was received. That's not 5 stars service. They should have called us, write me an email or write me a message via Booking.com, like all other hotels do.

Everything was superb. From check in to check out. Breakfast was excellent. The view and access to the beach were unbeatable. I love both indoor and outdoor pool.

the location was excellent. Every room has a view of the beach and the hotel has beach access. the rooms were spacious and clean. the bed was so comfortable also. there was a wonderful pool overlooking the beach. The breakfast buffet was delicious, a good mix of western and eastern food.

Very good facilities, swimming pool, and nice breakfast. Smooth check-in and checkout process, also complimentary family photos was also very nice and quick.
