We thought we knew what to expect staying at JW hotel - a safe choice like other major international hotels without "surprises", even though there were some negative reviews about this hotel from other guests. Our room was nicely cut and comfortable. The view over the bay is great and the Bay Opera is just few steps away. Two swimming pools and all the other amenities completed our memorable stay.
In general, I find JW Marriott a bit too masculine in design.

This hotel was terrible. I was here for 10 days and I had a bad stay. The only good thing was the location and the pool
This hotel was terrible from the beginning. We were here for 10 days. The staff, The security specialty vector (didn’t show his badge so this is what he said)the receptionists called David and katirin. The first night was terrible they gave a room that was not the one we booked and it was not clean at all . the main reception was closed. we got to the hotel at 1 and got our rooms at 3:30. Secondly the security followed my family and watched us in an uncomfortable way for no reason. On our third day I went to walk at the beach at 10 pm and there was only one security there no one else. When I came back 10 minutes later my shoe was gone and my socks were left on the sand. I went to the guest service and told them this and they didn’t even look at the security camera and told me sorry it was lost we can’t help you. There was no clean towels in our room and we called 5 times to ask them for new towels but they brought them the next day.
