After many less good experiences with other hotels in Barranquilla, the BH BARRANQUILLA is the first hotel in the city, who fully satisfied my expectation. Nice location. Nice room. Nice breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. The whirlpool on the roof top is amazing.... I would like to tell a private experience: I felt really sick during my stay and the hotel helped me extraordinary. They were organising a medical hotline first with a nurse and later with a doctor. Following my wish a doctor came to see me in my room. When I was ready to pay for the doctor´s visit in my CheckOut, the hotel took over the costs and I did not had to pay the doctor´s visit. I am still impressed about so much hospitality.

Pros: * Bedding - Extremely comfortable * Shower - Excellent pressure and temperature (hot) * Bathroom - Large and spacious, just like the main room too! * Minibar - Very well stocked with lots of options * A/C - Worked great! * Layout - Great design the way the bathroom was behind the headboards * Parking - Convenient elevator access to the basement garage * Concierge - Excellent service with quick & easy check-in / check-out process

Cons: * View - There wasn't anything particularly cool about the view from our room, BUT that honestly wasn't important to me, since we could see much more of the city from the rooftop deck, which was amazing

the breakfast was good, bed was comfortable. reception was friendly and responded quickly when called. for the price it was very reasonable.

the wifi up on the 4th floor did not work properly, only seemed to work in the bathroom. the pool/jacuzzi didn’t turn on, and didn’t seem clean enough to go in :(

Well located, they offer good value for money Clean and convenient they offer unpretentious but more than addequate accommodation. Hotel staff was amazing and breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. Would come again

The hotel entrance is lovely and the staff friendly. The room was comfortable and bright and the bed and bathroom were good. Breakfast included some local dishes.

The rooftop pool was actually a double jacuzzi which wasn’t warm so we would have rather had a pool to swim in. The rooms are not well soundproofed so we could hear the neighbours in the bathroom. One of the receptionists didn’t know what to advise us about what to visit.

Cozy and spacious room. Comfortable facilities, including a Jacuzzi. The hotel commits to providing a sustainable stay.

The hotel is a bit far from the main points of interest. However, the location felt pretty safe at night

Nice appearance, good cleanliness, cute theme/decor in lobby and in room, workout room, pool on top floor, updated bathroom, large closet, polite and helpful staff, good variety of choices for breakfast.

1) Very hot since air conditioner did not work properly for 2 days, but staff was able to fix; 2) water was not very hot, which would have been nice when the air conditioner did work; 3) in 4 days had towels changed only once; 4) didn't notice restaurant being available other than breakfast, but there was a nice restaurant on the same block.

15000 COP for a bottle of water from the mini bar (which costs 1000 in any supermarket) is an overcharge.

Very nice staff, good location, breakfast is excellent with lots of choices. The rooms are of a nice size and the beds are comfortable

We couldn't use the pool unfortunately because they had renovations going on.

The breakfast Buffett was fantastic with fresh fruits, juices, and great eggs. Also, I like the big jacuzzi with city view and super awesome steam room. I will highly recommend this hotel. BDW, congratulations Barranquilla.
