We love everything there. People were very professional and helpful as well. They definitely value their clients. The hotel has 2 beaches walking distance. Both are are family friendly. But one is more for relaxation with sand (more for kids) and the other one with music(more for couples/adults). Both have bars. The staff is very well organized, they have a terminal for credit card payments if you dont have (enough) cash. The receptionists speak English which is also helpful for tourists coming from US or other English speaking countries. We wanted to walk around with kids on the island, a guard of the hotel guided us. But it was too hot and humid for the kids. We decided to take a 2h boat tour for 200k Colombian pesos with a stop to enjoy another beach. Such a great gateway! We recommand 1000% this hotel.

Not directly related to the hotel service, but to get there we took a ferry speed boat with CTG Tours from Cartagena. Its a 45minute ride. The way back (boat is departing at 3pm) was a little bumpy. But it went fine. If you have seasickness, you need to be aware of that.

We travelled with our 3 year old and 6 year old kids, and absolutely loved (almost) everything about the hotel and its surroundings. The atmosphere is serene and relaxing. The two beaches are very beautiful and clean. There are small stones and corals in the bottom of the ocean. So for those who are sensitive to this, I recommend bringing swimming shoes. We choose to spend most time at the beach without music. The beach with music stops playing at 3pm. So the evenings are peaceful. Both beaches have a bar and personnel serving drinks. The hotel offers massage and I definitely recommend trying at least one treatment. The massage therapist has really good techniques. We tried snorkeling and going to the aquarium close by. Everything is easy to arrange with onsite staff. One thing we liked was that the personnel is really friendly and makes you feel taken care of. They circulate the surroundings and when interacting they are always friendly and check in on you.

Unfortunately our minibar fridge, toilet and air condition did not work in our first room. After telling the receptionist one time, we thought the problems would be fixed. After asking twice staff arrived to check the problem. The fridge was replaced the very same day. But the toilet and air condition continued not working. After spending two nights sweating and not being able to sleep, I spoke to the manager and we finally got to change rooms. I felt as our complaints weren’t taken serious from the beginning. But after changing rooms we were happy again. And the service from then on lifted the whole experience.

We really liked the privacy and the calm after 3pm when the day trippers left. The water was super calm and beautiful. The rooms are very spacious with comfortable beds and the drinks/cocktails are tasty.

The communication was really poor and not helpful when we had questions regarding the transport to the hotel, we didn’t receive an answer until the day of check-in despite multiple messages. The food is really just mediocre as well as the service, eventhough everybody is very friendly. The service is very much tailored for the tourists taking a day trip to the hotel, e.g. one bar closes at 3pm, the other at 5. After that only the restaurant is left, with last entrance at 8pm.

A beautiful location. The rooms were really nice with large comfortable beds and a fresh clean decor. Plenty of space. Liked the little touches like L’Occataine toiletries and chocolates at turndown service. Plenty of sun loungers even when the day guests were there. Liked there was a music beach and a blissfully quiet beach!

The checkin service. Chaos at the gate at the port with all the crowds of day guests. And herded off the boat into a group en masse. It was not a good first impression. Hotel guests have paid a lot of money and should be treated accordingly.

+ Friendly staff at reception + Food quality + Multiple breakfast options (if not included)

- Early breakfast (6-9am) - but probably necessary because of the day tourists arriving around 9:30 am. There is something one needs to consider when coming to the island: - there are musquitos an cocroaches on the island and you might find them in your room. - not really made for a long stay. would recommend max 3-4 days (food and drinks are rather expensive) - there are day tourists but there were enough sunbeds for everyone.

The island location was just heavenly! Beautiful

Hidden costs at checkout. From 4-6:30 pm they shut off the generator to conserve. This was not announced so you couldn’t plan your time. They have day trips that come out from 9-3 and take the chairs. Hotel guests seem like second priority.

Wonderful appartment and amazing facilities.

In the morning it took quite some time to get help with the check-out. Waited around 20 minutes for the responsible person to show up. That was sad as I came slightly late for my diving course.

Really beautiful hotel at the beach. Loved the views and the food. The staff were all really nice. The beaches are small but there's plenty of day beds, and the day visitors are only around for a few hours. We enjoyed hearing about the conservation efforts going on, hopefully they're successful!

Large and very nice rooms, including terrace with hammock and sea view Very clean and big hotel area, feels like private island after 3pm Friendly staff Nice food at the hotel restaurant

Beach and beachbeds (most of them reserved early in the morning) Plastic waste in water, plastic should be extracted and recycled (not just thrown 5m further away) Loud boats during the day, especially weekends (she should drive further away)

Great location, lovely room with good facilities, friendly and helpful staff, two private beaches that were kept clean and tidy, both with a bar. Good extra facilities like snorkelling (for additional cost). The whole place felt relaxed and well run. It created a lovely environment to relax and unwind.

Housekeeping didn't change our towels or shower mat during our stay.
