It’s waterfront with a fabulous view, the rooms are large with aircon - bed comfortable and showers good. The meals taken at lunchtime or evening are very pleasant , served by friendly staff and the welcome from the reception and managerial staff makes you feel as though you’ve come home.

No breakfast but it’s not a problem as my friend an d i walk to a nearby hotel and have breakfast there

We have been traveling for 6 weeks and this was our favorite room. We tend towards inexpensive places to stay with decent ratungs. The marina doesn't look like much as you head towards Golfito. Upon entering, however, we found a lot of comfort and convenience. The staff is kind and personal, the room is spotless and large. The best shower so far on our trip. The bathroom and shower are way larger than necessary, and very well thought out.

The hotel was nearly perfect. The restaurant was good.

Nice hotel right on the water. Rooms large, comfortable and clean. Nice bar too with a great view and the restaurant served good food from 12-9. Good location to explore Golfito and bade yourself for day trips out.

all members of staff are very nice and helpful, especially the lady in the reception room. spacious room, very clean. the cleaner is hard worker.

too far from town and activities. it’s not very convenient for not having breakfast included. most of the guests have to go into the town to have breakfast. that was quite a long walk.

Large and comfy rooms. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food and views at the restaurant were incredible - little pricy for the area but really good. The rooms had both air conditioning and fans, and a nice, spacy bathroom. We found the place super clean. Location wise it's on the main road, about a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal and 5 minutes from the bus stop. Loved it and would come again.

The bathroom has some open panels on the door, so if you're in more than one, you can quite clearly hear and smell the other person's bathroom activities.

Fabulous and very clean, first time staying at Banana and did not disappoint. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Definitely we’ll stay there again. Thank you Marcos and his staff for a very enjoyable and confortable stay.

The room was good. Wifi was slow at times but still manageable. Stephanie was a great bartender and very friendly along with all the other stuff. Would definitely stay there again

We had such a great time at Banana Bay even if it was a short stay! Right on the water with amazing views. Amazing food and wonderful people! Perfect place to stay In Golfito!

pretty much everything apart from not staying longer, we had a room right on the water (this added to the experience), very pleasant, functional well equipped room with ample space. gigantic bathroom

can think of nothing apart from if you want breakfast you’ll likely need to go elsewhere or bring something to snack on in the morning. Great staff however treated us to a coffee at the least. I really enjoyed my stay here so it’s hard to fault
