Aminess Hotels has purchased the resort since our last visit. Kudos for their upgrades, and the indoor pool refurbish was spectacular! We spent almost a week in May. The reason we returned to Croatia was specifically to be at the Marco Polo and soak in the scenery, changing colors and history again. The Manager, Marina Lovrincevid, was wonderful with the guests, and her team based supervision of the staff. She is an Aminess company gem! Also special thanks to the wonderful staff we interacted with daily, who helped us in every way: Dragan, Emma, Nik, Monika and Yellena. The beds and food are great. The view is imprinted on us forever. If we can ever make it back to Croatia, it will be to return to the Marco Polo. Thanks so much, Suellen and Rick Carroll

The location of the hotel is excellent - conveniently situated near the old town, yet pleasantly uncrowded. The staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. The buffet was a highlight, with fresh, flavorful food prepared using seasonal ingredients. We never found anything lacking. The salad bar offered a wide variety, and every night we enjoyed delicious fish, multiple meat options, plenty of vegetables, and other well-prepared side dishes. While some reviews mention that the hotel could use a renovation, I believe it delivers exactly what it promises. The room, as well as the rest of the hotel, was impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable stay.

My two daughters and I spent several days at the Marko Polo Hotel in Korcula in July 2024. It was perfect in every way and an ideal location to see and do all that we had on our list. The staff was pleasant and helpful, the room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and clean, the pool area was clean and quiet with plenty of chairs and umbrellas, and the restaurant was wonderful with many options from which to choose. We loved the location, which made walking to and from restaurants, historic sites, beaches and shops easy and convenient. We will most definitely stay here the next time we visit Korcula, as well as recommend it to friends and family traveling to this destination. We recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Korcula for work or pleasure, for a family or friend trip, or for a romantic getaway. A++ all around!

I can't think of anything we missed or needed from this hotel.

We were delighted with our stay in Marko Polo. I think it was called junior suite we had, and it was very spacious, and overlooking the sea and swimming pool. It had coffee making facility and mini fridge. We were very happy with its comfort, and had everything we needed. Receptionist and all staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. It was in great location and 10 mins walk to the Old Town,and there were also little bars and restaurants on the walk down there.. Would definitely be happy to stay there again.

I would have liked a proper hairdryer .. not one of those attached things in the bathroom, that has little power and you have to keep the button pressed while using it.

The location was perfect, just outside the old town and close to a little hotel beach. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They really made our stay. We went for the half board and found the food excellent. There were loads of choice and quality ingredients, especially the wide variety of vegetables and fruit.

The rooms were a little dated but were very clean. It would have been nice to have free access to water at dinner. We often had to wait until half way through dinner to get service because the staff were so busy.

Upon arivall (and btw, we came 4 hours before scheduled check-in) hotel staff kindly offered us towels and the use of pool while the room was being prepared for us. Parking in hotels parking lot was also offered pre check-in for a very reasonable price. In our room there were welcome deserts waiting for us as well as the note from the manager wishing us a great stay which I thought was very sweet. Room was pre-climatised. The staff was really helpful and professional - they gave us directions of local events and places that are must-see. As for the hotel's restaurant, we had breakfast and dinner included. For breakfast you can have whatever your heart desires. For dinner the same - from soup, fresh fish, to different types of salads and deserts. Hotel also has a terace next to the pool overlooking the beach from where you can see the oldtown in the distance. The terace is excelent for early morning sunnrises with coffee or late night relaxying with the sounds of waves. During our check-out the staff gave us a small gift - Korcula's lavander wrapped in a small bag. 💜 The hotel is near the old center. Within a walks reach! You can get anywhere with taxi boats and check other islands nearby. I would definitely recommmend going to island Badija. But also don't miss the experience of Marco Polo's house and the general experience of the old port town. 😊

The only thing we didn't like is that our vacation was too short. 😄

We had a fantastic stay at the Marko Polo Hotel in Korčula. The location is perfect, just a short and easy walk to the town, making it convenient to explore. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Frano at reception, who was incredibly friendly and informative, ensuring we felt right at home. Our room was beautiful and spacious, in great condition, spotlessly clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. A lovely touch was the handwritten note welcoming us to our room, which made us feel even more special. The pool area was lovely, with plenty of space to relax, and the hotel thoughtfully provided complementary towels, robes, and slippers, making our experience extra comfortable. We also really enjoyed the buffet-style breakfast, which had a great variety of options and set us up for the day. Overall, a great hotel with excellent service. We would definitely stay again!

Location of the hotel is excellent- only a 10 minute walk from where the ferry arrives and from the old town. The room was excellent and had a great balcony with a magnificent view out over the marina/port and to the old city. Room was very spacey and furnishings and layout was excellent. On arriving in our room we found complimentary sweet treats, bowl of nibbles and some nuts with a lovely welcoming note from the Manager - an awesome touch. Very nice pool area with lovely swimming pool and seating/tables with an awesome outlook. Buffet breakfast and dinner both very delicious and offered great choice and variety. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.
