The hotel was lovely, perfect location to walk along the seafront or into the town via the marina from where you can take boat trips to Rovinj and the Lim fjord. Loads of bars and restaurants in town. The buffet breakfast was excellent with fresh grilled vegetables every day. Great outdoor swimming pool, spotlessly clean, and lovely bar terrace with amazing views over the sea, the marina and the old town. On my birthday the staff surprised me by bringing a bottle of pink prosecco and glasses in an ice bucket to my room which was lovely, and which we enjoyed sitting on our balcony.

The hotel is within a larger group of hotels. So you are immediately on holiday as the vibe in general is relaxed. The property is extremely well located from a great seafront with swimmable beaches and only a short walk from lots of restaurants, gelato shops and the old town. Surrounding towns are also great. Breakfast and supper buffet service was great. The staff are literally the friendliest and most helpful team. Such great front desk ladies who helped us enjoy our stay. Thank you again

The property is old, and they are updating the rooms piecemeal. Regardless, this was not an issue.

a) Room air-conditioning was inadequate (unable to cool room to a comfortable level); b) When the balcony door was open (Room 224) the noise from one of the restaurants (not the hotel's own, but the restaurants on the promenade below) was very-very noisy all night. Hotel Pineta should find out which restaurant has this noisy equipment and require them to replace with some modern equipment. It is after all directly impacting the comfort of Hotel Pineta.

Great location. Lovely town, easily walkable. Great pool and good access to the beach where you can rent lots of water sports equipment. Staff were very friendly and hard-working.

The hotel main areas were renovated, but the rooms were quite simple, although we knew that beforehand and it didn't bother us at all. There weren't children friendly meals at dinner time and you had to pay for drinks at dinner, there were no tap water available either.

The hotel is located on top of a small hill, surrounded by pine trees, a few steps away from the sea and the town centre. An incredibly extensive range of food for breakfast and dinner, even for picky eaters. During the Christmas holidays, it was still possible to swim in the sea due to the pleasant temperatures, and for those who were more frosty, the hotel pool was available, where the water was 30 degrees. Despite the fact that the rooms do not look modern, they are functional, essential elements such as the bathroom and bed are new and excellent.

We liked the friendly staff in the hotel, they all gave their best to make our experience great. The hotel is beautiful as well, but the rooms desperately need renovation. We had double room with sea view. We apprecciated the inner pool since the sea was still too cold to swim.

The rooms, floors, bathrooms need renovation. We would happily come back in the spring or autumn, but the summer prices for this quality are much too expensive. Also, the buffet food could be better.

Vrsar is a quiet harbour town on a hill. Nice location especially for families with children - outdoor pools with water slides. Nice clean hotel and friendly staff. Also excellent location -close to the beach. Appreciate the indoor pool. We had a room with a sea view. Very good sleep with no distractions. Excellent food.

- I didn't like charging for sun loungers and umbrellas by the sea - the water in the pools could have been warmer - check-in to the room only at 3 pm -higher food and drink prices in the area -no drinks at dinner (only with the option to purchase)

Highlights of this hotel are definitely the STAFF - very friendly and helpful, and the VIEW from terrace of the restaurant over the town of Vrsar. Rooms were clean and comfortable. There is an indoor pool with a pool for children as well, which we were using almost privately, since most of the people were outside. Breakfast and dinner offer wide variety of choice. There is also a parking lot next to the hotel, and it takes only good 5 minutes to reach the nearest beach as well as the old town of Vrsar, so the location is great.

One downside was the price. Considering that we travelled at the end of May / beginning of June, I would rather expect such prices in high season - in July and August, but it is what it is. I cannot give 10/10 for this reason.

Breakfast very satisfactory. I travelled alone and I was clearly allotted a single persons room which was adequate. The hotel is on a raised site and access from the centre is a considerable gradient then the reward of a beautiful panorama.
