Wonderfull gem in the middle of Jicin. We were surrprised what we found for such a decent money. The interior & exterior were renovated after a sad history of communist era. We cannot say it's modern of fresh but it is so real and authentic and made us super happy. (unlike other hotels around, where the interiors are newly renovated, but in the style you don't want to stay in). We would recommend this hotel to all, and also recommend the owner to keep it this "classical" way.

Unfortunately, the staff at the breakfast could behave a bit better. Keeping up with needs of guests.. On the other hand, the receptionist was super nice and super helpful, so let's hope this is the way the hotel keeps / promotes :) Maybe there is no need for the TV in the room. It is not keeping the spirit of the original hotel from 1913.

The room was big and spacious. the beds were comfortable. the shower was great and big with good flow. the staff were great and helped with anything we needed. the location is amazing! City center but not really inside

The elevator was broken (which must have already been repaired) The room was not really clean in advance down to the smallest details

Our famiy loved our stay at Grand Hotel Praha. The reception staff were really helpful and the rooms were super comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. And we especially enjoyed being able to book the sauna and pool for our private use. The meal we had at the restaurant was really good and we loved our friendly and fun Italian waitress. We definitely recommend this hotel as a great place to stay.

The hotel is very near to hystoric city center,you feel like you travel to the past and stay in specialy decorated apartment - former president suit Very polite and helpfull staff at the reception and the restaurant

The beds were noisy ,no air conditioner

The rustic design of the hotel was fun and exciting. Breakfast was simple and good. The croissants were very yummy.

Not having a hot water boiler in the room was not a terrible inconvenience but as many hotels have these, I kind of expected it, particularly given there was a mini bar in the fridge and drinking glasses on the dresser.

Nice atmosphere and environment. The building alone is worth a stay. Very good breakfast.

Don't expect a typical Czech menu. The food is really good, but rather Italian. Lots of pasta, lasagne...

The hotel is located in a beautiful building in the city centre. It's about 10 minutes walking distance from the railway station, and literally one minute walk from the main square. I would really recommend this hotel for people visiting Jicin.

We stayed in the president suite. It was realy huge! Nice bathroom, beautiful decoration. But it feels like the best times of this hotel is already behind. Will it be also in forward?!? The goal of this hotel was excelent, just excelent food in the italian restaurant downstairs. And a waiter was helpful and friendly. Great location for exploring the Ceskij raj!

In the double bed was good mattrase but in the room with 2 seperated beds- it was too hard to sleep on it! At every move the mattres squeaked. The beds should be changed as well the mattreses. Please clean a dust not only in visible places but also under tv;) and please be be informed that using damaged flags is disrespect to country are a show a disrespect for that country! Very basic breakfast.

We were upgraded to suite, location was excellent. Room was clean and warm. Breakfast great.

Lighting was a bit dark in the room....atmospheric!

Great location , Beautiful historic building , Friendly and good service from Jacob at the bar/restaurant, Nice reception staff.

Poor housekeeping service . Dust / floor corners /top of paintings , pictures. Remain of tooth paste , cream ,after room service , not acceptable.
