We loved the location, rooms, comfort and service.

The breakfast could have been better, given the price. I'm lactose and gluten intolerant, so I can only eat hard cheese, but they were all soft cheeses. I also don't eat meat, so I had boiled eggs. The other hotels we stayed in Denmark on our trip had higher quality pastries for the rest who could eat gluten and options for the non-meat eaters: artichokes, vegetables, potatoes etc. However, this, to me, was minor compared to the service we had, which was exceptional, the rooms exceptional and the location. I am only giving for further improvements.

Hotel Marie is a well-located hotel, good atmosphere, great breakfast and adequate parking for the car.

Our Junior Suite room got very warm during the day, particularly the bathroom, as it was in the full sun. Some sun protection in the bathroom would help mitigate that. The harbor which the room and terrance look at is quite ugly (whilst the town of Skagen is beautiful and charming). The music from the adjacent bar to the hotel (speakers on the outside of the bar!) is loud, day and evening, which is really not necessary, makes no sense to me.

The breakfast where super. Everything else where perfect, parkinglot close, good restaurants cole to the hotel etc.

The only thing we have to say of negative was that the hotel not have any open facilities or reception in the evening after 5.30 PM.

Very lovely, clean and cosy place. The room was well equiped with necessities like water heater, soft towels, hairdryer, showering gel and shampoo. Breakfast, that was included in price, was very good, fresh and versatile. I stayed only for a night, but wouldn't mind staying longer. The location of the hotel is also very practical because you have shops, restaurants and bars just around the corner and the train station is just 5 minutes walking distance.

Everything was great, no complaints.

Lovely staff always helpful with a smile. Fresh and good varieties for breakfast. Very clean generally.

Chairs in the breakfast room need to be equipped with Felt pads so they are not making squieking noise when people move them. A small fridge in the room would have been nice. Vanity kit missing in the bathroom incl. kleenex box.

We had an apartment, purchased food to cook for an evening meal, went to use cooker approx 18.00, the oven did not work, went to bar to see if anybody could fix it, there was no one available, . so had to use hotel kitchen oven =, which was not very satisfactory.

I loved the seaside decor. The room was clean and spacious. The location was great. Everything was within easy reach. Skagen is worth the visit. The staff were very helpful.

The room was over heated and you could only open one small window. This was with the radiator switched off. There is also a loud bar next door which was only bothersome on one of the nights I stayed.

Breakfast and Location are both excellent. Room was large and clean. Easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Breakfast is well curated.

I highly recommend the music room provided it is not a weekend or live music in the bar underneath.

Excellent location, close to the harbour, restaurants and shops. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful reception staff. Very clean with excellent facilities.

The pub next door had some very noisy very late night quests that woke us.

The apartment was gorgeous; really light, nicely decorated, has everything we needed and more. Then they told us breakfast was included, and it was delicious - I love crispy bacon, and that was great crispy bacon

I really can’t think of anything. Our only issue was the party over the road, but it was a long weekend, so not much the hotel could have done about that
