If you're looking for the famous Danish hygge, then Rønhave epitomises it. We loved the rural setting just 10 minutes north of Sønderborg. The on-site boutique and butcher are must-visits. Our breakfast was light but filling. The host is interesting and inspiring, and it is clear that great care has been taken to select only the best possible local or regional ingredients, furnishings and toiletries. Also, the view from the upstairs bedroom is pretty darn fantastic.

Exceptionally beautiful and peaceful out-of-this-world location. Delightful, sumptous breakfast with local products. Everything (bedlinen; towles et.al.) of a quality well above comparably priced b&b offers in the area. Genuinely friendly, helpful staff - their engagement in the place is infectious. Summing up: Staying at Rønhave feels like a shower for your soul. NB: Guests with any walking disability should make sure to book a room on the ground floor.

The location and accomodation are really awesome, very calm and tranquil. Breakfast was a very thoughtfully prepared platter of good quality continental selections, with coffee and fruit juices too. In the evening I made the short walk accross the farm field down to the beach, which was lovely and with great views all around. I wish i was staying for a short holiday instead of for work.

There were not a huge amount of options for dinner, but even so, it was possible to find something - and I could have even prepared a meal within the room using the small stove and cutlery provided, if I were so inclined.

The breakfast fell like one from a 5-star hotel. And it changed a little bit from the previous day, so we didn't get bored. Royal Copenhagen tableware! The beds were comfy for my taste. The place is very quiet and with a nice lake view. Cozy common area. Good selection of drinks in the maxi-bar. On-site butcher and shop brings some life to the area. Plenty of parking space. Nespresso coffee and tea in the room. Present scented toiletries.

No microwave and dishwasher in the room. The double bed was 2 single beds stacked together. The bathroom had a floor heating and we couldn't turn it off, so that was pretty hot in there.

The room was very large. There was a small kitchenette with a fridge and a coffee machine. The bed was comfortable, it was quiet at night. The breakfast was lovely. Very convenient to park the car just outside the entrance.

The bathroom was quite small and a bit dark. Very little space to place/hang stuff in the bathroom. Due to the hot weather, the room was quite warm during the nights.

The location was very beautiful and peaceful, the breakfasts were well put together and the staff/owners were very friendly and spoke good English!

There was no airconditioning and it could get a bit warm inside.

one of the most beautiful and idyllic places in this area - wonderful rooms - some with amazing view - super delicious breakfast and for evening drinks in the cozy lounge a great variety in the mini bar including home made apple cider.

The property was perfect. a slice of quiet paradise with access to a small beach with crystal clear waters. The breakfast was made up with local produce and was the perfect simple place to relax. beautiful
