The structure of the hotel is really nice, the staff was very professional and offer their help at all times of the day. We did not use the pool but it was a nice option to have.

After our check in, we entered the room and noticed the bathroom wall was dirty. This should have not happened in the first place but we requested it to be cleaned as we were leaving for our tour. We expected the room to be ready on our way back but we had to send a new request and waited 45 minutes for someone to show up and clean only that wall instead of the whole bathroom.

Arena Blanca was a great little place. The staff (family) that worked there were very nice and helpful. We had breakfast everyday and it was great

The room was nice and big. It got cleaned every day. Good value for the money.

The pool area was a little bit dirty, the little pool was closed all the time. The way from the busy place in San Cristobal where most of the restaurants etc are, is 15 min walk away. The hotel lies on a hill so the walk back can be really exhausting. But there are many taxis for only 2 dollar per ride.

The place has a decent size pool

For the rate the hotel should include BREAKFAST, room was ground floor near reception and was a little noisy, room dark, and musty smell. Some fungus growing on the ceiling of bathroom, bugs walking by the entrance door starting around 6pm to late night. Beds are twin size and the wood boards are very noisy feels like the wood planks going to break and fall. Room is OUTDATED, the water temperature is hard to control the hot water you either gets VERY VERY HOT and if you add some normal temperature water then the hot water stops working and the cold water comes out. The AC is very low no matter how strong you put it just very low had to get front desk clerk to help me with fixing it. The WIFI is HORRIBLE!!!, tv outdated and the cable Is NOT clear and only few channels working and no ENGLISH channels just SPANISH.

It’s good, but there were ants on the food

The website said is close to the malecón, but in taxi, not walking; ants everywhere, on the bed, water; everywhere…. In front of the hotel is a volleyball court; where taxi drivers play at night; very noisy, screams, very late at night . The staff is really nice!
