Location was perfect. The beach is right outside and there's a Starbucks right across the beach access alley thing. The staff was super nice and welcoming. Loved the full kitchen set-up. If I had been there longer, I totally would have gotten more food to make on my own. But it worked perfect to order extra takeout and do leftovers. Also the rain shower was amazing.

Bed was a little hard. It was super clean, but needed some updating. Also, the bedroom outlets were a little inaccessible. Only other issue is the noise. I was on the 1st floor and my room's windows looked out on a little beach access road. I could hear the people outside, I could hear the people above me, and I could sometimes hear people in the hall if they were being super noisy. It wasn't enough for me to be super annoyed, but if someone is sound sensitive, it could be an issue.

Cleanliness of my room. Soft & plush towels. Comfortable bed & pillows. Great wifi connection strength. Front desk staff were super welcoming and informative (Daniella), even offered me a room change option prior to my first night and I ended up desiring it.

Showerhead and shower light were not fully functioning in my original room (#101). No parking available on premises, only one overnight parking lot option nearby, so I had to wake up early to relocate my rental car for a couple mornings. Otherwise, front desk staff was super helpful with providing maps/knowledge of the parking situation to me prior to and upon my arrival.

The experience in this hotel was good, I stayed with my family, and the facilities of the room were confortable, it was clean, and the personal of the hotel were friendly. The hotel is in front of the beach, there is no parking, but the hotel provides you a map to where to park your car.

The only thing I did not like was the people who is around of the hotel or at the street, but I think that is not fault of the hotel

Great location, right on the centre of the Venice beach sidewalk and across the beach. There were occasional instances of homeless people causing a bit of noise before they moved on, but that is to be expected due to the location. Our room had partial ocean view, so it was always very bright. The facilities were satisfying, even the elevator which was on the older side. The parking was also good, as we were provided with the option to pay a reasonable additional sum in order to park on a separate closed lot a few meters away from the property. The staff was also very helpful.

We loved the location. The view is amazing. The staff is really kind. Beach towels and extra stuff to take down to the beach is a nice feature. We stayed four people (one adult and three kids) and used the bunked bed, it worked out great.

Plates and glasses are four of each, so when you are a family of four, you have to do the dishes a lot. There is a dishwasher but no brush for a quick fix. Overnight parking is a little distance I had seen all the comments about homeless people, so we were prepared for that. It seemed like there is a difference between weekdays and weekends. It wasn't as bad as I had expected, but it is there. Has nothing to do with the hotel, but it has to do with the location.

The staff were laid back, cool, down to earth. I was there for 4 days and every staff member I encountered was a pleasure and helpful. The rooftop was an amazing selling point. Yes, people smoke up there but who cares. You're in Cali. Some of the comments had made me a little hesitant about staying here. I'm so glad that I followed through. Also, yes there is sand. Expect that if you want to stay somewhere right on the beach. I loved the amount of diversity at Venice Beach. Literally every place I went made me feel welcome, safe, and comfortable. All of the little restaurants and Bodega are so yummy and affordable. I truly had a hard time leaving this place and plan to return soon all the way from mid Missouri.

The bed and couch were not very comfortable. The bathroom was very outdated, with broken tiles and not the cleanest appearance.

Location: Right on the beach. The Venice Boardwalk, at that. So, if you like people, people watching, small gifts or eateries or even all the things a beach can provide this is a great locations. Also the volleyball net and bike trails are helpful alternative to the ocean. Also our check-in person Danielle was absolutely great to us. She runs a tight ship, which is needed with the variety of personalities an on beach location can attract; guests or locals. But she was wonderful to me, my son, and entire family. If we go back its because of her. Give her a raise!!! Thank you Danielle. 😀

Nothing about the hotel was undesirable. I cant remember if there was a gym or not. I usually use the hotel gym but the beach kept me plenty active. The cost was a bit pricey so longer stays could take a toll on the wallet. I would suggest VBS to offer a 2 or 3 day discount incentive.

The view and location are absolutely amazing, and the rooms have all the amenities you could want. The guest access to the rooftop common area was lovely! I also liked the aesthetic of the whole hotel, with the old elevators and the bare brick walls.

The wiring in our room seemed to be a little faulty. Not enough to impact our ability to use the room, but turning on one light in particular for just a few minutes would trip the breaker. Fortunately, the breaker is also right in the room, so that's easy enough to fix.

We were really impressed with Venice Breeze, great hotel! Room was immaculate and had everything we needed. It was a really spacious and comfortable room. we felt relaxed as soon as we got there and until we had to leave. Rooftop was superb, we enjoyed many sunrises and sunsets from there. Loved having that extra place you could hang out in. Great views of the beach too from the room. Also all the staff who worked there we fantastic aswell. I'd stay again this Christmas if I could!

Nothing, it was a perfect stay. Doesn't deserve some of the negative reviews. You can't come to L.A and not expect to see some homeless people. The gov needs to work on that. However, no one bothered us, and we didn't experience any problems at night. If anything, we were surprised how quiet it was!

Great location right on Venice Beach. Outside was lively and fun, but the room was quiet - a haven after busy days looking around LA. We loved the beach views from our room and the roof terrace for breakfast watching the boardwalk coming to life. The room was spacious and well put together - loved the brickwork and the double shower.

The kitchen was great - but the grill for toasting didn't work very well. Not really a problem.
