Room size and furnishings were very good. Shower pressure great and plenty of hot water. Although there were some drinks left in the mini fridge, everything else was very clean. The espresso machine in the lobby was top notch!!

When we asked for towels Monday morning, because after our 3 night stay our room had not had any housekeeping service, the front desk did not have any to give us. The front desk attendant said, "I guess they didn't leave me any," and that was the extent of help we received. We had to get towels from the pool area to use for our showers that morning. The negative signs all over the hotel about 'noises' and 'parties' and 'alcohol' and 'extra guests' etc, were very off putting. While we didn't have plans for any of those things, it was very condescending and presented like the hotel didn't respect or trust its guests. It makes it seem like a lower class hotel since it feels it needs to school its patrons on how to conduct themselves.

Breakfast was very good. We were especially pleased that although we came down for breakfast about 1/2 hour before the closure of serving time the hot food items were fresh and plentiful. Other brand lodging establishments we have stayed at (in other parts of the USA) usually don’t put out fresh items in the last half hour of serving.

We were disappointed that the fruit juice dispenser was out of order. We understand these things happen. However we thought that they could have provided pitchers of the juices in tubs of crushed ice. This is also the case for fresh water. Pitchers of water could also been available.

I liked the reception we received upon arrival. The gentleman was very nice to us The lobby was exceptionally clean and had a pleasant odor. The hallway carpet was stained but there are signs posted apologizing for this and that new carpet is forthcoming. Our room was very spacious, clean and odor free. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The location is convenient to food, gas and shopping. I would stay here again.

Very clean and quiet (hotel has strict “no noise” after 10 pm policy).

Value was non existent as was Dad’s w/e and rate was triple normal price. Bathroom was dated, front desk didn’t have anyone there both nights when returning late. Didn’t feel safe as anyone could walk right into hotel and go up elevator.

My room was clean and the bed was very, very comfortable! Also, the towels are decently sized (not bath sheets but still big enough to easily cover most bodies)!

My room was waaaaaaaaay overpriced for what you get. I've stayed in four star hotels in London for less than I paid per night here. The lighting in my room wasn't great and the room itself was not at all relaxing. It felt like its only purpose was for you to get in, sleep, and get out.

The room was great, and the room temperature was perfect The pool was perfect and the breakfast was hot and very tasty. Also the staff was very attentive and polite. Very friendly atmosphere and they made my daughters feel very comfortable being away from home.

The lighting in the room was rather dim and should be a warmer color. The lighting in the elevator was dim and flickering. The elevator was drafty and cold. There was a low spot in the floor outside the elevator on the 3rd floor that should be fixed. There was a caution cone where the low spot was but it really needs to be corrected. Also, please include a hot chocolate option in the rooms. My 11 year Olds would rather have that then coffee or tea.

The manager Jay was very friendly. He saw that I was somewhat handicap and my sister who was sitting in the car was too. He grab our 4 bags and brought them inside. He helped me get my sister out of the car so she could use her walker. Once we finished checking in the bags were already outside our room door. Jay was fantastic. The breakfast was fantastic.

Best Western Plus Champaign was great! A bit pricey, I’d say. Great overall first impressions. Room was very clean. We loved the comfy beds. Breakfast was decent and had variety. Would definitely recommend and stay again. We stayed for a baseball tournament that was in Rantoul. Not a far drive at all.

The bed was amazing! We normally stay at Mariott chains and it is hard to beat their beds however, I must say I believe this one did! We decided to give this Best Western PLUS a try because we couldn't find a Marriott Hotel nearby and also this hotel had great reviews and was priced right. The hotel was very clean, the area was great and surrounded by restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

The first incident was when we checked in, the agent began to help us but then immediately took a phone call and left us standing there while she walked the person through the entire call! It seemed like 10 minutes which is a long time to be left unattended. After her call she never apologized or thanked us for our wait. This was very poor customer service. The second incident was the unfriendly breakfast attendant and other staff we encountered during our stay. Normally breakfast staff at minimum say good morning or smile. No one on the staff that we encountered ever smiled, said hello or acknowledged us at all. We enjoyed the hotel but the staff should be provided customer service training.

Location was good; staff was friendly and efficient; common areas fine - issues with hallway floor, but they seemed to be getting addressed. Room much nicer than expected. The beds were OUTSTANDING. We all want to know who makes them and how to get one!!! very nice stay, even if only one night.

The only small negative was some mildew staining in the shower grout. The room rate was unreasonable, which will make me avoid Booking.com and probably Best Western in the future.
