Beautiful resort with great, clean pool area for families. Great Spa. Good breakfast buffet. Staff was super nice - but I didn't see one place in Fiji where the people were not nice:) There are two really great restaurants (crab shak / beach bar and grill) just next to the resort (accessible via beach) - for some variation.

Beach in front of the resort is not really inviting. Snorkelling was possible (only at high tide), however, there is more seaweed than corals. But, further out there are some corals and loads of small tropical fish to see. We definitely had higher expectations (or hopes) regarding the snorkelling in front of the resort. No jetty nearby, so all trips start by a car/bus ride... There is a kids eat for free offer (which is nice), but not if you book through booking.com... well, and as I'm writting this review on booking... right, our kids did not eat for free... so rather check the resort website and book directly.

Am amazing resort with everything you could possibly need. Staff were amazing, especially Josh, who was poolside. So many activities for all ages. It was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. My teenagers were not bored for a minute, they had a great time. Rooms were lovely and cleaned every day. Each restaurant was fantastic, with amazing food.

Just some little things - was disappointed that upon check-in, money was 'frozen'. It was much further out from Nadi than I expected (nearly 2 hour drive). Everything we needed had to be brought at the resort. There is nothing around that area. There were never enough loungers at the pool. Every time we went down there, we had to wait for someone to leave so we could get a seat.

The property was beautiful, about 1.5 hours from Nadi, well maintained and spread out. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

I didn’t like the fact that a lot of activities you had to pay for. I understand motorised sports but things like archery, golf range, cultural talks and activities, tennis tournaments, were all charged. Frog racing , crab racing these were all continually charged . I think with what was charged at resort these should have been included for sure

Tropical architecture picturesque resort. Snorkeling was complimentary and very fun. Staff always greet you with a smile and "Bula" (especially the guys at the front gate, each and every time, without fail)! Butler service was amazing, thank you Pojie! Friendly Buggy porters to transport you to wherever on the resort - thank you John (for your stories too!) And Nilesh for enjoyable buggy rides!. Kids club was fun for the children - thank you Maria and staff! Food at Ivi (Mix grill platter) and Sundowner (prime ribs and grilled river prawns) had exceptional flavour

There was an extra $150AUD charged on our credit card when we booked for accommodation - upon asking both the resort and booking.com, no one was able account for the difference. Pricey, it's a five star resort so expect to pay 5-star resort prices.

The facilities were fantastic. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Pool and beach access fantastic. We travelled with 3 teenage boys who used the gym every day. The food and restaurant options were really great.

Fiji is an expensive holiday. Whilst we were prepared for this, as we had done the research it is still a shock. Make sure you keep track of food and drink purchases as it adds up very quickly. The food and drink will easily be more than the accommodation cost.

We loved the service/ vibe at the pools as it was so lively.

The breakfast not worth the value and also they don’t offer drinking package unless you purchase full onboard. We bought half board but we couldn’t purchase drinking package. The cocktails are $28 which is too expensive. Its cheaper to eat/drink outside in crows nest or Indiana

We really enjoyed our stay at the outrigger. The staff was very friendly and the room was beyond comfortable. The food was great. We took the local bus to town for only $2 to do some shopping and to have a look around.

We found the food somewhat over priced. The beach was also not as nice as we had hoped with it not being a great swimming spot

We absolutely loved the Fijian staff at Outrigger they were like family it was like being at home, massive shout out to the staff at Vale Ni Kana our lovely Fijian mum Marica there she was so loving and nurturing and her hospitality was amazing and the staff at Vakavanua Lounge especially our bros Malakai and Manasa (apologies if the names aren't spelt right) always coming through for us the 5 crazy loud dancing tongan ladies with our drink orders and the rest of the staff there too who we got to see most nights when we'd come through there they were all excellent at their jobs and we are thankful everyone let us be and made it comfortable for all, also do not want to forget the awesome staff that were always posted out at front reception and the entry lobby, the bro Sola or Saula (sorry if the names wrong) always checking on us and even right up to the awesome housekeeping staff too, everyone we got to know there were amazing people and a separate SHOUT OUT to our cousin Josh and his cool aerobics dance moves lol and last shout out to the bros in Security at Outrigger evening shifts for helping my sister Lolo find her mobile phone.

I think the food can be a hit and miss sometimes, also quite pricey. Best times to buy drinks is during HAPPY HOUR!. I think there needs to be some re-evaluating price and food quality wise but everything else was FABULOUS. I would come back only on a discounted price though ;)

- Very welcoming and friendly staff, always happy to help and greet you with a friendly “Bula”! - Hotel room was clean, had a beautiful view and very comfy beds. AC/ceiling fan worked well and dual shower heads was a massive plus! - Adults only pool was so peaceful any time we went there, and poolside bar service was great - Wide range of restaurants to choose from - Huge amount of activities for all ages. Highly recommend the Bebe Spa experience!

- Wasn’t informed of the security bond requirement in advance. Would be beneficial to properly inform customers of this expense before arriving. - Pillows could’ve been more comfortable, and tend to go flat very quickly - More vegetarian options on restaurants/room service menus would’ve been nice - Breakfast buffet was quite pricy

Big resort with multiple eating facilities. Chefs cater to dietary requirements when requested. Big pool with both areas for small kids and bigger kids. Also an adult only pool to escape the hustle. Great activity program with a wet weather program if it’s raining. Airconditioned kids club and nanny service. Beachfront access with amazing sunset views. Overall we had everything we needed and more.

The standard hotel rooms (so not the bures) all are only accessible via stairs. This means that is you are a family with small kids, you will have to carry the stroller and/or pram up or down at least one stairs every time. They do have a section of rooms available behind the pool for people with accessibility needs, but that is only upon request. Also be prepared to walk a lot as it’s a big complex!
