Hotel Verso is in the centre of Jyvaskyla, within easy walking distance of everything. I always take the train from Helsinki and walk to the hotel from the train station. Just in front of the hotel is a department store (Sokos) with a big supermarket in the basement. Some rooms have a shower; some rooms have a bathtub. I love the breakfast buffet, which has pretty much everything. This time I had an excellent omelette cooked by a very cheerful young cook, which made my day. You can rent a yoga mat for free, which is also great, but the standard room is a bit too small for yoga; the better room has more space.

The room is a bit dark. I personally prefer to have better lighting at the desk when I work with a laptop. The restaurant was closed on Saturday/Sunday when I was there in mid-May, I don't know if it was for one weekend or if it was the normal schedule. I love the Bistro Kirkkopuisto, which is part of the same group, but it is a 5 min walk from the hotel.

This is a centrally located hotel with the location that simply cannot be beaten. There are so many details around it and regardless of that fact, it retains its interior calm atmosphere. The cleanliness is really on a high level and above everything, thank you for your early, abundant breakfast that allowed me to catch the bus for Petäjävesi on time. The room itself was very good and perfect for a good night rest. If returning to Jyväskylä, Hotel Verso will be my home away from home again without any doubt.

Clean and comfy room, very spacious. Sauna brilliant, shame there is no option for morning löyly! Had dinner at the premises, was at high standards and good value for money. Breakfast was amazing, one of the best on our travels. Would book again!

Parking was hard to find, and very difficult to use as the space in the underground hall was limited. Very narrow with sharp turns and corners.

I had KAHDEN HENGEN SUPERIOR-HUONE, it was very nice. Clean, towels, bed linen and duvets of superior quality, bath robes, bubble bath soap was excellent idea. Breakfast was great, on-the-spot made omelet. Parking with many charging places for electric cars. Good instructions how to drive to parking. Discount to the local clothes store (can't remember the name of the store).

Only very minor thing is that the bubble bath "soap" was not enough quantity to make whole bath tub with bubbles

A new name for a hotel there I had overnight many times. A great overhaul, a new feeling, more classy. That includes also breakfast, which was one of the best I have experienced in Finlannd.

Parking hall is tight, but whar can you do, cars were smaller then the hotel was built. Breakfast was excellent, but unfortunately some things were already missing at 10 then there was still two hours left.

Once at the hotel the location allowed us to walk easily to all the shopping and tourist sites. The street in front of the hotel was a pedestrian walk way with no car traffic allowed which was nice.

When we arrived finding the parking garage to park our rental car was a challenge and caused some frustration, but once at the hotel everything was great.

Service was great in both reception and at the bar. Room was nice and spacy, bed was very comfortable. Location was great, train station and many nice bars and restaurants were right next door.

One very minor complaint is that my room’s soundproofing could have been better. Noises from hallway could be very clearly heard, but it is not like it woke me up at night or at a morning, just something that I notices while awake.

Sound leaked very easily from the hallway but thankfully wasn’t much of a problem during my stay at least. Room had a bit of dust here and there, for an example, the lamp covers where dust would fall on the night tables.

Location is the best in Jyväskylä. Breakfast is Finnish, its more personal than in most of the hotels. I think the breakfast is a good reason to stay in Verso. Rooms are nice. This time I got superior room, which was quite big. Beds are excellent! Safety is big enough for computer.

Maybe it's the corona time, but there was no cleaning up, if you stayed for two nights. There's only one elevator, so in rush hours you sometimes have to wait.
