- Good location if you have a car, 10 mins drive from ski slopes and much cheaper than staying in Ruka itself. - Excellent breakfast! - Shared kitchen area was well-equipped and comfortable. We were the only ones using it during our stay as most people were on packages that included dinner, imagine it might be difficult if all four rooms are trying to use the shared space. - Nice site to walk around in the evening looking for northern lights :)

- It wasn't clear to us that the kitchen was shared until we arrived. Description reads as if each room has a kitchenette. - No ski lockers or ski storage room.

Great breakfast in choice and quality. Original architecture. Great location on the lake banks in a forest. Sauna by the lake. Clothes dryer in the bathroom. On a short ride to Ruka and supermarkets; well located to national parks.

We stayed at Papintalo, ground floor facing the lake, the position is excellent but rooms are dark. Light had to be on at all times. Also, the sink in the kitchen is tiny and the faucet ill positioned, and since there's no dishwasher it gets complicated to do the dishes. The sponge provided was overused, so we had to buy a new one and some soap since the one in the bottle was low quality.

Located nearby a lake and down the road of Ruka. It is peaceful and the set up is perfect for families. Large range of activities are proposed on site.

It is quite far from the closest "city" Ruka, about 10km, therefore a car is mandatory if you wish to explore by yourself. Activities on site are quite expensive and very limited choice of restaurant but chalet are equiped with kitchen so better bring your own food.

Part of our group stayed in Alinan Tuba (Villa for 10 people) and part of our group stayed in Glass Villas. We were happy with the amenities. There was just enough space to fit us all and we managed to cook most our meals in the larger villa's kitchen too. Communal sauna was very good, with a possibility to dip into a lake. I would definitely stay there again if necessary.

Glass villas would have been even better with proper double beds.

Originally I booked an accommodation without any running water or toilet. That wasn't clearly indicated on the site of booking.com. So, I paid for an upgrade to a cabin with these basic facilities, that went very smooth. The (log) cabin was quite idyllic, clean and enough room for 2 people.

A more clear indication on the booking.com site that there is NO running water. Also, the fact that you can't cancel (that was the condition when I booked) is really a no go for me in the future.

The room was super clean, nicely designed and the bed was very comfortable. Small lounge/kitchen area outside the room with microwave and water cooker was super handy. All staff were members extremely friendly and helpful. There was a minor problem with my breakfast arrangements (due to miscommunication between staff members) but they handled it nicely and I got reimbursement.

I stayed there on a quite warm and humid day and the room was quite humid as well.

Nice little Tonttula cottage from 1978 with everything you need. Good beds. Well equiped kitchen. Well isolated. One window can be opened and is equiped with a musquito screen. Nice shower, not too big but big enough. Heating works very well. Friendly staff. If you like a really (and I mean really) quiet place, you should definitely go here!

If I need to say something small, then maybe the blindfold at the bedroom (just 1) is a bit translucent, the rest is blackout. For the rest, it's perfect the way it is!

Very nice and clean apartment with a well-equipped kitchen Beautiful location near a lake Very friendly staff As the restaurant was closed, breakfast was delivered to my fridge every day. WiFi in the apartment.

The apartment was a bit too cool. It was not possible to adjust the temperature.
