The hotel is located about 15 km away from the city center, but we can say it is like a fairy tale. There is a parking area for the car. The check-in experience was very good, we had the chance to learn everything in detail. The hotel is built on its own land and has a very large area, there are rabbits and squirrels in the area and it feels great to wake up to this view every morning. Breakfast was ready in our room, all the ingredients such as cheese varieties, ham, eggs, waffles, meatballs, greens and tomatoes and cucumbers were in the cupboard. We were very pleased for 2 people for whom breakfast is important. There are all the necessary equipment such as pans, pots and glasses in the kitchen. There is a frozen lake very close to the hotel and we had the chance to experience the northern lights from here, although we are a little hesitant because the area is a little deserted, we can say that there is no dangerous animal in the land.

That we have to go back :)

Like the fact that it is away from the hustle of the city centre. You can have a quiet stroll in the property, which provides a moment of reflection in the fast paced world.

None. All was great. If one stays here, do remember that it is about 16 mins drive to city centre with no public transport availability. Nevertheless, you can rent a car if confident to drive in winter snow/icy conditions or do an Uber.

The host was a very nice person The property is located in very nice and quiet location and very beautiful . Really enjoyed the short walk to the frozen lake through the forest .

You definitely need a car or use Uber or taxi.There is no public transport. But that doesn’t matter if you’re looking for a beautiful location to stay.

Beautiful property with kitchenette near Rovaniemi. Lovely welcome from host. Excellent comfortable room with plentiful and tasty breakfast. Lovely campfire and surroundings including frozen lake just 5-10 min walk on private land. A delightful stay and would 10/10 recommend

The property was small and intimate. It was exceptionally clean. Mika was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast food delivered was gorgeous and there was plenty of it. It was a family feel, we felt really at home here.

The surrounding was peaceful and you could enjoy the snow on sight.

There are no shops or food places unless you get a taxi to town which is roughly 40 euros each way!

The remoteness of the property was the exact thing we were after.

Getting an uber or bolt can be a challenge when needing a large van to move our family. Normal cars were easy

The chalet didn't have a large communal area for the whole group to enjoy and the sauna is operated by another company and it was closed.

We had a great stay to celebrate new year's and enjoy the beautiful landscape.

Most things to do are in Rovaniemi or beyond, at least a 20 minute car ride away.
