The views of Manhattan are absolutely class. We were in an upgraded room with City View. I’d definitely recommend it. The staff were very pleasant and always helpful. The cleaning lady always ensured we had enough coffee for the coffee machine in the room. The 158 bus into Manhattan was a 2 minute walk from the hotel and goes very regularly. The Italian restaurant in the hotel is good as well although we tended to go to Mokafe Cafe for breakfast. The bed was confortable and our son had a decent sofa bed at no extra cost. Wi-Fi was good and free.

The rooms are a little dated and in need of refurbishment.

Very clean and comfortable, and the staff were great. Very convenient location, just a few minutes from the bus stop (156-158-159, app NJ Transit) which takes you directly to the port authority bus station in 10-15min, a few minutes walk from Times Square. You can also take a ferry to Hudson Yards (great views, app NY Waterway). You can pay in both apps with apple pay and for the bus you can pay for any route and use the other ones (so you can take any of those buses). The transport worried me a bit before the trip but it was actually very easy.

Maybe a bit outdated, but nothing serious. I was very clean anyway.

Your staff was great, and the location was very convenient for us, as we went into Manhattan several days. We truly liked the restaurant and the pool as well. Our room was very nicely laid out, and our beds were extremely comfortable.

It would have been helpful to have a small microwave in the room - We are in the downstairs restaurant and had leftovers that we wanted to finish later. Other than that, our accommodations were fine.

The location was great, the view from the room amazing. Very spacious room and excellent cleanliness: our room was being cleaned every 3 days, but if needed you can ask for everyday cleaning. In our case was enough every 3 days. Next to the hotel there is a bus stop that makes it easy reaching Manhattan, Port Authority bus terminal is only 10 minutes away. There is the ferry stop too in front of the hotel which offers the same service and you can reach NY quickly. Also, there are restaurants in the area, one in the lobby of the hotel.

I was scared about reading past reviews which mentioned issues with the transportation, but in our case the bus and ferry was a good way to reach NY as I mentioned above. There’s nothing that we disliked about this hotel.

Me and my husband we travel around the world quite often, but we were in the USA / NYC for the first time and we could not choose a better hotel. Starting with the location - calm and quiet area. Very close to the ferry and bus station. Hotel and our room were clean. People were friendly and supportive. And the view… we were located on 9th floor. View was breathtaking. We can strongly recommend this place.

The restaurant in our opinion was quite bad. We were there twice (to give them second chance after first failure) and we regretted it. Food was average and unfortunately people working there very incompetent. Luckily there were other restaurants in the neighborhood.

The King Size City View rooms had the most spectacular views of manhattan. We even slept with the curtains open so that we could wake up to the sunrise. The property was ideally situated for the NYC Waterway ferry, just steps away from reception. It was a great way to get into the city but be in a calm, safe area with those views. We used the gym and the pool which were both lovely. The huge beds and pillows were super comfy, the rooms were spacious and well appointed with plenty of space to relax after a tiring day of sightseeing. Also, a shout out to Kevin in Reception who was super helpful and friendly. Overall, a really wonderful stay.

I love the location here as its not too far from downtown, which I can easily get there by train. It is quite close to the river, near the bus station as well as light rail staion.

There were 2 lamps in the room that did not working, I did request the cashier for maintenance, but nothing fixed during my 4 days stay. And the cashier charge the deposit way higher than normal rate. Normally they should deposit extra 1 night, but the hotel charged extra amount that equal to my total bill.

We were as a family of 4 Mom and 3 big son's. The beds were queen size so a bit small for us 4. However we managed. The room was big enough, because we planned to be in the city as much as we could. We only slept there. The location of the hotel was amazing. just walking outside seeing the skylight was absolutely breathtaking. This was also the main reason we booked the hotel and so it matched and exceed our expectation. I loved that the busstop was just there and it brings you right where you need to be in New York. All very convenient and easy.

The airconditioner was a bit noisy. It was dark in the "office" part of the room. Another light point would be perfect. Even when be loved the breakfast, it would been nice to have a slight less sugary and healthier options.

Windows didn’t open and the room had had a smoker in before us. Really smelly. Great views but needs modernising. Breakfast was not a buffet it was a la carte if you didn’t have a voucher. Lots of choice but massive portions I asked for half size and told it wasn’t possible neither was mixing fruit platters. Kids portions available but only to take away! Staff been told by new management you have it off the menu or not at all no deviations possible. Staff were lovely it wasn’t their fault they couldn’t change anything.

The location was phenomenal! The bus line 158 and 156R are literally a 1 minute walk away. These lines will take you in 15-20 minutes to port Authority bus terminal (42nd street), which is a 5 minute walk from Times Square. You can buy loose tickets for these lines at any bus terminal with a ticket machine. I believe a 1 way ticket cost 3 dollars. You can also take the ferry to midtown New York (10 dollars per single ticket), which will take you 10 minutes. The rooms are so spacious and comfortable. Beds are great! Shower is okay (not the greatest). You have a huge closet for all your clothes, 2 big TV's, a couch, table, enough light, a mini fridge, complimentary water bottles (renewed every day by the lovely cleaning ladies). I did not use the gym nor the swimming pool, nor did we have their breakfast (we preferred to walk to Mokafe and get ourselves their amazing chocolate croissants and coffee)

Check in personnel that did not really take the time to make sure you were foreseen with all information.
