We stayed in the Family Room with bunk bed, and it looked exactly like the picture! It was spacious, quiet, clean. The kids loved it! The staff are very friendly. When I called Reception or Housekeeping, they remember your name and room number. Location-wise, you have everything you need nearby. The Sunway Lagoon Theme Park is just a stone's throw away. The hotel is located right next to the Sunway Pyramid mall (interconnected) with tons of shops, facilities, kids playground and an ice-skating rink. There is also a self-service laundromat nearby in the shoplots opposite the hotel. This was a real lifesaver!

On the second day, some of us started to have allergies. We asked Housekeeping to vacuum the room, and after that, the allergies stopped. Breakfast is not served in this hotel but in the 'nearby' Sunway Resort. We had to either take 6 escalators down to the restaurant where breakfast is served, or walk across to the Resort Hotel and take the lift down. There was a wide range of food for breakfast but not too fabulous for my taste.

Great location and room

No breakfast available in the property, you need to go to the resort to have breakfast.

The breakfast was good. A lot of variety and a lot of sitting space. The hotel is good for family who want to visit Sunway Lagoon. very easy access to the lagoon and to the mall for shopping and dining.

I had booked three room. Two rooms had water drainage issues. The first room (9118), the sink drainage was poor. very slow the water clears from the sink. the second room (9124), the drainage from the shower had problems. the bathroom floor got slightly wet/ flooded. Also the towels in all three rooms had some stale smell. We thought it was just the first batch, but after requesting for a room cleaning and fresh towels, the smell was the same in the towel. i hope the hotel management can see to this.

Excellent location connected to the Pyramid Mall. Plenty of restaurants in the Mall with a vast choice of food from around the world. Hence we did not have breakfast at the Hotel. The room was clean and orderly. Very responsive staff when we needed assistance. I like everything about Sunway Pyramid Hotel. My fourth stay (2017, 2018, 2019 and 2024). I stayed at the Sunway Lagoon Hotel in 2023. I still prefer Sunway Pyramid Hotel. The Hotel should have offers for repeat guests - Loyalty benefits :)

Shower cubicles could be sealed better so that the water will not seep through.

Breakfast was located at the other affiliated hotel beside Sunway Pyramid. Its a short distance away and a little bit unusual but its made up for it by offering wide ranges of foods that my family liked. Sunway is perfect for families because of the close proximity to a kids-friendly mall, food, amenities. They even have a medical centre nearby (even called Sunway Medical) in case of emergencies. If anyone wants to experience more attractions elsewhere, they can do so by booking a cab or going to the Grab App for more private transportation. Its easy, quick and affordable. Distances between attractions and the hotel are not too far.

There wasn't really anything that we did not like so strongly as to put in a review. However, Sunway Pyramid could do better by keeping better maintenance on their hot water showers and water pressure in the bathrooms.

The bed was really super comfy for some reason. After suffering from a week's long tension and mental stress, I could relax and doze off right after lying on the bed. Location wise, it is definitely superb. Very close to Sunway Pyramid shopping mall, access to a wide variety of shops, restaurants and entertainment outlets. Good and comfortable weekend getaway. Room service personnel was also helpful, considerate and excellent.

The water pressure in our bathroom was very very low, so bathing experience wasn't that pleasant. One part of the lights to our room (bedding & TV area) did not function after the first night.

Great value for money - I needed a comfortable, simple and safe stay in that specific area - Sunway Pyramid has fully satisfied and even exceeded some of my expectations. The hotel staff was very welcoming and I didn't have any issues. The room was very spacious and clean, everything I needed was there and the bed was very comfortable to sleep on after long and tiring days traveling. Location is perfect - the adjacent shopping mall has absolutely everything you may need. I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking to stay in the area. Catching a taxi into KL is also super simple if you need to.

I didn't encounter any issues during my stay.

Breakfast spread is good. Room size is big for this room category. Connected directly to Sunway mall, easy access to shopping and food. Has access to the lounge - no comment on that because I didn't have time to use the lounge

Room key problem. I have stayed in this hotel multiple times. During each time I encounter problem with the keycard on the second day of stay as it refused to unlock the room door. Have to go down to reception to get it updated. This is very frustrating. Car park used to be free but back about 2-3 years ago, Sunway hotel no longer give free car park to hotel guests and it costs RM15/day. Water pressure is decent. Can be improved.

The breakfast buffet at this hotel is truly exceptional, featuring a daily spread of fresh fruits and pastries. As an added bonus, we had our room upgraded at no extra cost. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The hotel's location is also a major plus, with excellent restaurants and a massive shopping mall just a short stroll away. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Kuala Lumpur. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the Hotel Manager for their exceptional hospitality and willingness to accommodate our needs

I loved the breakfast buffet spread. We were spoilt for choices. There was an array of cuisines to choose from Asian, to western and meditteranean.As a family travelling with young children, the "children's dining section" equipped with children furniture was a delight to see and experience for us. The resort was clean and facilities were well maintained. The common areas smelled fragrant throughout which was a delight to the senses. Staff were professional and friendly. A pleasant surprise was the free room upgrade and we enjoyed having our rooms with direct access to the waterventure park which was clean and an enjoyable experience for both Children and Adults.We hope to visit the resort again in the future. ❤️
