Room Was fine, clean and bed was very comfortable, pillows were nice and large so we did not have to ask for more. Staff were very helpful. The only problem we had was electrics went off and it took over an hour to rectify, but was done but as we were on a schedule, had to miss breafast.

The only thing that sort of puts pressure on you is the threat that if you get your car number wrong you could be fined, that is the biggest sign in the hotel, some elderly people would be put off by the threats.

Michael at front desk was brilliant. He worked magic of persistence , professionalism and patience to get me the room I booked when booking.com messed it up. He managed to do this while dealing with multiple other customers as it was at midnight.

Booking.com customer services staff are an absolute joke. There was an issue with the booking, a booking com mistake, and I had to call customer services. It's an AI tool used as they just couldn't understand basic problems that lie outside the standard Q&A script. Either that or booking com staff are severely incompetent, rude and unprofessional. They hung up on me twice! They claimed they tried to call back but that is a lie. They even attempted to blame the situation on the staff at the hotel because they didn't understand it. Booking.com staff are horrible people. Lesson is check ahead with the hotel that all is good with the reservation. The staff at the hotels are normally amazing.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Very clean. Breakfast was good. Car park had plenty of space. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. Shower nice and hot. Room and bed was bigger than expected. Would stay again without hesitation.

The electric radiator connected to the main thermostat was broken in the room. There was a small oil filled plug in radiator which I used but it did take a long time to get the room up to temperature because the main one hadn’t been on at all. I got to the hotel very late and just wanted to go to get to bed, otherwise I would have asked to move room. Wasn’t the end of the world but it would have been nicer to walk into a warm room. No conditioner in the shower or on the list of things you could ask for if you’d forgotten.

It’s a lovely little hotel, with fantastic friendly staff, situated in a perfect location.

The only one down fault was that breakfast tables weren’t allocated like some of the other hotels we have used over the years. We were spilt up a few mornings due to 1 or 2 people using a table set for 4 people. Staff did make a table at times but still the Entitled hotel guests should given the singular table or table for 2. I did witness a table for 6 with 2 people on it and the a family of 5 were split up.

Room was clean and tidy, staff were really pleasant and helpful, we arrived late but were made very welcome. Breakfast included in the price was also excellent so was real value for money and the breakfast was a great start to the morning.

Rooms were boiling, my room had secondary glazing and the side that opened wasn't the same side as the window that opened which meant the air didn't get through as well so wasn't easy to get to sleep after a long drive. Cost of the dogs in the room was quite expensive compared to other hotels. £25 per dog per night compared to other hotels which at generally £15 per dog per night.

The accommodation was comfortable, ie. the bed and sofa. The washroom was clean and well equipped. A good selection of food for breakfast and the staff were brilliant at topping up shortages and removing used dishes and tools from tables. Impressed.

There didn't seem to be any air-conditioning during warm weather so we had to sleep with the window open and a busy road nearby was quite noisy. A rather personal comment but one of the cleaning staff had very strong body odour that remained in the room such that we had to open the window as far as possible.

when booked was told a note would be added to our booking so our rooms would be ready earlier than the 3 PM check in as we were attending our Nieces wedding travelling some three and a half hours but upon arrival was first told by gentleman on reception rooms would not be ready till 2 PM asked again just before 2 PM and the lady on reception said rooms not ready till 3 I explained about the original booking and conversation and she said well it’s 3 PM check in time if we were told no leeway I would of cancelled and chose somewhere else we had to get 10 people to get ready in the gents toilets for the men and ladies to get hair makeup and ready in our brother’s room who travelled down the day before and is such a shame as this was the only fault with the hotel

The staff were absolutely exceptional - they were friendly, courteous, professional and helpful. We had suffered a bereavement and had to keep extending our stay - nothing was too much trouble and the staff were kind and supportive throughout. Breakfast times were busy but again the staff provided exceptional service to everyone. We can’t recommend this hotel for its customer service highly enough.

The carpet in our room was quite stained and needed replacing but otherwise it was a very comfortable and clean room where we felt safe and relaxed.

Fantastic hotel for the price. We have stayed in various hotels around Lichfield when visiting family from Scotland but this is the best. We will definitely return. Considering it’s so close to the main road we only heard a siren once in the night when already awake. Huge room with massive comfy bed - could sleep 4 adults it’s so big. Shower very powerful and warm and lovely dove products in bathroom and shower. Clean and comfy. Breakfast included with hot options and cold, juice machines and coffee machine with lovely coffee - takeaway cups if wanted. Very polite staff.

Bathrooms are dated but clean and very good shower. Will stay again.

Breakfast was very good. Staff were very friendly and the hotel was well maintained and very clean. The hotel is well situated on the outskirts of Lichfield with easy access to the city centre. The bed was extremely comfortable. Our stay was incredibly good value and we would certainly choose to stay here again.

The radiator did not seem to be working so the room was a little cool though an electric heater had been provided and this helped.
