A faultless stay, especially for the price. Minutes walk from the train station and also the castle, the staff both in the afternoon of checking in and on the morning of departure were lovely. The bed in the room was comfortable and the TV in a good location. I was on the top floor with an excellent view over Angers from the rooftop window. The bathroom contained both a bath and shower, plus several towels immaculately presented. The wardrobe space was also generous. The curtains shut out the light superbly. The breakfast offered was varied, with cereals, fruit salad, a croissant, bread, unlimited hot drinks and juices and much more.

Very little - a couple of TV channels suffered from intermittent reception drops and the room was supported by a sort of trunk I banged immy head on when getting up in the dark, though that's my fault!

The room was spacious, especially the bathroom, and they were extremely clean. The stuff were very friendly. The location was close to the train station. The property was very quite.

The elevator was very small. You can fit yourself and one large suitcase. The stairs were narrow and slightly steep.

narrow steps up to 4th floor, elevator goes to 3rd. However, it's an old building, the view was great, and if your prepared it's not a problem.

The hotel is in a good location for the historic centre of Angers. on arrival the duty manager was friendly, helpful and spoke good English as was his relief the following day. The bijoux room was clean and tidy with a comfortable double bed with a toilet off the short hall from the entrance, the bedroom had a small shower room plus a sink. There are several good restaurants a short walk away beside the imposing 'castle', we had an excellent meal at one sitting on the terrace looking at the castle.

The hotel owners have obviously done a lot of work in making a small hotel as comfortable as possible, however first impression on arrival outside is that it looks a bit seedy in a quite run-down neighbourhood. Regarding the bedroom, it is quite small which little can be done about, the only negative aspect was as both myself and wife having poor French usage it would have been good to have an english speaking channel on the TV.

Check-in was easy and the room was very clean and comfortable. I loved that I could open the window in the roof for ventilation. The location was excellent, very close to the train/bus station. I had to check out early and there were fresh croissants on the counter, which I assumed was for guests. They were delicious!

The only think I didn't like was that upon check-in I was told about quiet hours, and then again when I came back downstairs, and then again when my daughter met me in the lobby. When we came in around 10, a woman told us to quieten down, when all we were doing was having a normal-volumed conversation.

Staff were exceptional. The lady on reception looked after our bikes, the lady on breakfast found me gluten free toast and Madeleines without being asked. Very secure bike parking. Boutique hotel that looks more expensive than it is

Great location, very good bathroom and lovely comfortable bed. The staff were all super helpful and very secure storage for our bikes overnight was much appreciated. Also very good breakfast!!

We would have liked tea making facility in room but were able to make a hot drink in the breakfast area and take up to room.

The hotel is simple but clean and well-equipped. I had room 33, reasonably spacious room with a nice little balcony. Personnel were very friendly and professional. Well situated for Angers' main station and walking distance from the town centre.

Lovely comfortable hotel with comfy rooms and beds. Helpful and friendly staff. Good secure space for our 4 bicycles. Excellent location for the Chateau Angers with the exceptional Apocalypse Tapestry - a must see and the lovely ancient part of Angers.

Very friendly service, great location, nice rooms with all the basics you need.

The only slight negative was the thin walls. But I would still stay there again.
