The location is beautiful. It is also located near many shops, bars and restaurants.

I’m just Knit Picking. When you check in, you initially are drawn to the small parking lot at the front of the hotel. You need check in first, in order to get your parking pass code to access the private parking lot at the back of the hotel. Parking at the front is tight so if you’re able park on the street in front of the hotel, you may find it easier. If however, you’re a blue badge holder, I’d suggest you advise the hotel in advance as parking at the front is limited. Once you have your code there is a large car park at the back which you access following the directions given.

We stayed here for a few days over Christmas. Breakfast included in our deal was excellent with plenty of choice for us. Our Christmas meal was a la carte dining and we were surprised how reasonable it was. We had a large balcony overlooking the beautiful lake which was a bonus. Beautiful walks in Bagnoles. We did not tKe advantage of the pool or spa treatments but will on a future date. Highly recommended!

No meals on Boxing day at our Hotel but we did eat at the casino round the corner. The meal we had at the casino was not to the same standard as our hotel Du Beryl. This year we will book any meals out side the hotel well in advance,. Bagnoles has many excellent restaurants close to our hotel.

in a central local opposite a beautiful lake. can’t fault the accommodation and would stay here again.

Upon checking in, the door was locked so we had to ring to enter. Reception was unmanned so we had to ring again. this was around 10pm. a non English speaking lady came to assist and did not know how to check us in. thankfully she found a prepared room-key on the desk to hand over so we could find our room. when i had cause to ask for the tea/coffee to be stocked i was told that i will be disappointed as she didn’t know where the supplies were kept but would do her best. i was disappointed.

Lovely staff. Hotel very clean and cosy. Nice room overlooking the lake. Brilliant location just by the lake. It was also nice to have tea and coffee in the room (not so common in France)

Didn't get chance to use sauna or hammam on first day as they are both quite small and they were full. It would also be good to put a timer on the jacuzzi so that more people can use it (people tended to just sit in it chatting for a long time without realising other people were waiting for someone to get out)

The staff were very friendly and worked hard to ensure our stay was a success. Our main purpose was to visit a friend in the area and so we did not make use of the spa facilities. The location was ideal, right in the centre of the town and overlooking the lake. The breakfasts were fine, in a large room where there was never a problem getting a table and with a lovely member of staff who seemed to manage breakfast single handed. There is also ample parking.

The restaurant was fully booked the night we arrived, and Bagnoles has a restaurant problem in the peak summer months with more visitors than they seem to be able to feed. I would advise people to book the restaurant when they book the hotel.

The hotel was spotlessly clean as was the pool. The staff were friendly and the rooms very generously proportioned. The restaurant was well appointed and the service and food were very good, the buffet breakfast was particularly good with a huge selection including hot food.The hotel is in a delightful position overlooking the lake, beautiful parkland and walks. The hotels décor and room design may point to a different era but the immaculate attention to cleaning detail and the general condition of the rooms and public areas is very high and so gives it a classic warm feel.

The excelent overall condition of the hotel is let down by some small maintenance issues. The formica on our bedside tables was damaged and some tiles are missing from the outside of the building.

We had a room with a big balcony overlooking the lake which was lovely. Free off street parking

The restaurant menu was very limited and my food was not very nice. Breakfast was all over the place with things laid out in different rooms. Some things (like the scrambled eggs) were not refilled although we were not late for breakfast so shoud have been given the same choice as everyone else.

Very helpful staff, very clean well sized room for 3 of us with a wonderful view of the lake. The breakfast was amazing best I've ever had in France and lovely to be able to take it on the terrace. Comfy bed and good pillows. Although the room was for 3 it only contained towels, coffee, tea and cups etc for 2, however the extra's were delivered to the room very quickly after mentioning. Had the room been for 2 people, it would have been an excellent room with sofa, but this was made up into the 3rd bed. We never used the spa or pool which looked good. We would definately stay again.

Prefer shower not shower over bath. Hotel menu and food could be better but restaurants everywhere nearby Nothing to complain about

The view from our balcony was great, room was comfortable. My wife used the pool which was great.

We weren't able to get a booking in the spa and the person my wife spoke to was not very helpful or friendly. Breakfast was OK, but only provided eggs and bacon (no bacon on Tuesday morning). Other breakfast items, fruit, croissants were good. Breakfast room was a bit uninspiring and scruffy (scratched tables, no table cloths). No bar (that we found)
