Very stylish house. Stephane and his family were very friendly and accommodating - e.g. with arriving early and departing late / letting us store luggage and also with providing a serve-yourself breakfast when we had to leave very early a couple of mornings to get to Paris in time for Olympic events. We also loved sitting out on the terrace and enjoying some fabulous Chardonnay in the evenings.

We absolutely loved our room (superior suite: Mink/Vison) but felt that it lacked somewhere to store clothes - i.e. hangers, wardrobe and/or drawers. The prices also seemed a little inflated that week, as the Olympics were on, compared with other times in the summer.

The property is like home from home the owners are so lovely and accommodating, I messaged ahead of time to see if there was somewhere we could leave our bags until checkin time as we are coming at 10 he advised there was. We arrived at 9.40 walked in to the most amazing smell from breakfast the accommodation is so homely he let us into our room and check in. The room was massive so much space, breakfast was beautiful with a wide variety to choose from. We will definitely keep this as an option if we return

Nothing loved everything

The room and building were very attractive. Comfortable bed and large bathroom. Ample and tasty breakfast. We were only there one night while working our way back to our flight home from Brussels, so unsure of proximity to tourist attractions.

Parking was a bit of a nightmare. The gym parking lot right by the property was completely full until at least 9:30 p.m. The free city lot that was near the property was also full (in fairness it was Saturday night), as was another further away. After circling in an unfamiliar city, we eventually parked in a pay lot that was about a kilometer from the property.

A beautiful place to stay - the top floor room with bathtub was nicely decorated and very comfy. The host Stéphane was very friendly and gave us some great recommendations for where to eat and events going on in town. Delicious French-style breakfast with bread, cheese, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, etc. Lovely courtyard at the back where you can have drinks.

Note that the rooms with bathtub don't have a standing shower, just a shower head with the bathtub. But for a short stay this didn't really bother us.

very nice 'old world' building, tastefully restored. very comfortable bed, lighting could be better but only as i require bright lighting. my room only had a bath but dont remember that specified in the room option. breakfast was continental but very fresh and healthy

lack of power points but its an old building so to be expected. low level of lighting and lack of shower in that particular room. this is considering my stay was a work occasion, so maybe wont be important for a romantic vacation stay! :)

The room is big and very nice. Exactly as in the picture. We liked it, it looked special. It is located near the mall center of the town where yoi can eat and shop, including supermarket.

There is no shower, but the bath. A little bit inconvenient. No fridge ... We had an early flight next morning much earlier than the breakfast time, so we turned to the owner and asked whether there was some creative solution for us (take away sandwiches for example), including to reduce in price, as it included breakfast. It felt that the owner did no effort to find some reasonable solution, although we read very good reviews of the guests which visited the place before. We didn't argue, but to admit it remained a less beautiful memory of the place, which is honestly very nice.

The owner is very friendly, as is his family. I felt at home. I spent a birthday with surprises. The garden is very big and beautiful. Super large and comfortable room.

When I arrived at the hotel, it was not open. I called, and no English was spoken, I had to write a message translated into French, and also to stop someone from the street (which was talking English) and asked to talk on the phone. The English language is not so difficult, especially when you know that you have guests from other countries.

the host was very welcoming and thr breakfast was really nice with lots to choose from and very tasty the bedrooms were large and the bedding was lovely and clean it was only a 15 minute walk into town

the bed was harder than I am used to we could have done with bigger cups for our tea

Great owner and family, treated us like good friends. Place is beautifully designed.

Parking was an unexpected challenge tho ultimately ok. We parked in an open lot right by the place but owned by a local school. Gate was locked so we couldnt get out for half an hour, much to everyone's surprise! Good thing we had lots of time to make our flight!

Well preserved, serviced, 18th century building with friendly & relaxed reception. Close to Beauvais centre, 7 min walk, with interesting cultural & history. Efficient Urban bus system accessed for €1/ day!

Bedside reading light could be brighter
