The apartments are ideally situated behind the main beachfront shops and restaurants with gated paths that open directly onto the main street by the beach - it is genuinely only only a couple of minutes walk from any of the apartments to the beach, but far enough back to be relatively peaceful. Benodet is a peaceful and calm resort town anyway, with great restaurants, creperies, ice-cream etc. all available. The beach is really clean and the sea is calm and clear - great for swimming.

There wasn't anything else we needed in the apartment - an oven would be useful, but it was clear beforehand that there wasn't one, so it's certainly not a complaint. Benodet is a popular resort, so can obviously be very busy in August, but again this was to be expected - however, if you're looking for less busy restaurants / beach etc., you'll need to drive from here or look elsewhere.

The location was perfect for walking out from. The pool area was kept very clean and tidy. Our apartment had two balconies and we had a view of the pool and side garden.

Some of the furniture in the apartment seemed very cheap. We booked a three bedroom apartment as we had heard that there wasn’t much storage space in the two bedroom. If there had been more than 3 of us I don’t think there would have been enough seating.

The location is great, close to the beautiful beach and the place feels safe. The flat was spacious and pleasant. My kids enjoyed the pool. We had a car park view, I would prefer a better view next time but this is only a detail as we were spending most of the time outside.

Great location! This is one of three or four 4* accommodation in Benodet but this is the nearest one to the beach. You just have to cross a small road to get to the beach (and to the nearest ice-cream parlour and an amazing restaurant!). It has a decent size pool. The laundry room (24 hours) is extremely handy. And the huge Carrefour is only a 3-minute drive away. The kitchen is well-equipped. The apartment was spacious (we had booked a two-bedroom for our family of 2 adultss and 2 children and this was ideal for us).

Our balcony (as did so many other apartments' balconies) overlooked the carpark. Initially this was off-putting and whilst it wasn't ideal, it was fine.

The location was fab, right opposite the beach. The pool area was relaxing. The apartment was clean, comfy, and great size. It had all the things needed for self-catering. Staff were patient as I spoke little French. They were helpful and polite. All in all, had an amazing stay.

The balcony area was oberlooking the car park but that was the only thing which didn't spoil our holiday!

The swimming pool was excellent, the apartment furnished to a high standard with everything we needed to self cater. The staff were very welcoming and very quick to respond to a plumbing issue.

There was nothing not to like

Generally clean and excellent location.

Bedroom and main bathroom very cramped (sink in main bathroom is un-necessarily large). Very limited time windows for check in and check out compared to other places we have stayed. Furniture is a bit bland and cheap feeling. A bit lacking in character and finer touches inside the apartment. No salt, pepper or cooking oil provided compared to other accommodation. No oven (only microwave).

Spacious apartment with all facilities one could expect. Very close to the beach. Good shopping and restaurants around the corner. Private parking on the premises.

Be aware that some of the trees can stain the car. It comes off but is a bit messy.

Great location near the beach, heated pool, nice modern apartments.

No air conditioning, v basic TV and no entertainment, no oven or grill, no bar onsite, lacked a little atmosphere. Benodet is a beautiful resort but not enough choice of restaurants, and a poor second to st.marine for an early evening drink by the marina.
