Hotel situated on the edge of Bitche town with an impressive view over the citadel (hence the name, presumably). Simple but comfortable room, with everything you could reasonably expect at this price. Enjoyable restaurant; outside dining possible when weather permits, which was the case for us. Good simple food well executed. Try the rösti with various toppings. The summer fruit sorbet was great too. Good breakfast, mainly cold food but you could boil your own egg.

Some fittings could do with a look at, but this is really not a big problem. Certainly nothing to put you off staying. You need a car to come here...

Room a good size with two single beds pushed together with an obvious and unpleasant ridge down the middle. The bedding was double bed sized and clean and crisp. Desk and chair and lamp. Two bedside tables with bedside lighting. Tele, plenty of plugs. Carpet tiles were nice underfoot. Shower room with walk in shower is excellent. Toiletries provided. Separate toilet. Door to a small balcony attached to the balcony of the room next door who smoked. Staff very nice and a good bar and meal. Big patio area with excellent views of the citadel. The hotel had a good atmosphere. Breakfast and WIFI good.

As said the double was two single beds pushed together with an obvious and unpleasant ridge down the middle. The grey towels are thin and small and not particularly soft. Smoking allowed on the balcony. Neighbours smoke drifted in. WIFI virtually non existent in the room.

Nice quiet place on the edge of town very close to the Citadel. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good. The room is quite small for a 3 star hotel - but it's OK.

The heating control in our room had broken so the radiator was on full all night making the room very hot.

The property is located in the beautiful French town Bitche, with a short walk i was able to reach the Citadel for a tour with fantastic views. The property is away from noise and offers fantastic food and drink. The room was spacious and offered a modern approach to the usual ‘out in the sticks’ hotel, i speak very little French but some of the staff spoke perfect English and the ones who didn’t were friendly and took time to make me feel welcomed.

The mini golf complex could do with some upkeep. Although the room was equipped with a modern shower room and the room was updated it could do with a paint, the purple bathroom door looked battered and there were marks on the walls. This wouldn’t stop me from booking again.

The fact the hotel is opposite the Citadelle de Bitche, such an amazing site at walking distance. Good restaurant and delicious breakfast.

The actual building & decoration are not to my liking but all was comfortable and clean.

Made to feel very welcome by helpful friendly staff. Tasty hot food - frogs legs were amazing. Comfortable room with heated towel rail to dry our wet clothes.

A good location on the edge of town with a great view of the castle. A perfect starting off point for exploring the Vosges area. There was plenty of good parking for our motorbikes. Food was nice and the staff were lovely.

Nothing bad to report as such, the room was slightly on the small side but perfectly adequate for 1 night's stay.

The hotel had been rebuilt since my last visit and the rooms are very comfortable, the restaurant is excellent and doing good business at lunchtimes as well
