next to the Chateau de Blois and the bus station to Chateau the Chambord, I understood the rooms with a view to the Chateau de Blois are a gem, but I wouldn t know for myself. Anyway, great location. Very very nice hallways and an extremely charming staff

The additional (not sheeted) blankets were not squeaky clean, there were a couple hairs here and there and we were really tired (and a little stupid) and we slept on the proper blanket (thinking that we didn t have one). You can hear the neighbors but ours were well educated

Built in the late 19th cent. the hotel still has much of that period’s decor and charm. Excellent buffet breakfast. (Pic of dining room below). My room looked out onto Blois’ château and next to a church with a stunningly high cupola. So good position for exploring Blois. Some reviewers talk of the hotel being slightly outdated. Yes, our en-suite shower was, perhaps, installed in the 1970/80s but it worked well. Water was hot, good pressure and had room to move (my husband is thin but 6’3”). Staff our helpful, friendly and efficient. Safe bicycle storage too.

The location is 100 yards from the Chateau de Blois. This is not a fancy hotel and does not have many amenities, but the room was clean and comfortable. IT was very quant with lots of nooks and crannies and half levels and little corridors that led to the various guest rooms.

Not really problems but helpful to know is that we stayed in a 2 bedroom. There were two rooms but only one of them had a door. The other one was open to the small front foyer. Our room was on the 5th floor and the elevator only went to the 4th floor. We are still mobile so walking up the steep stairs to the 5th floor was not a problem for us but could be for others.

Fantastic location and the hotel decor helps to create a sense of history. The staff were exceptionally helpful and the breakfast was value for money. The breakfast room is stunning, and the view from the hotel towards Blois Castle, the park, and the church is outstanding.

I chose the economy or budget room which was very small. I should have paid a little more for our 4 day stay a chosen the next level. There are no English language channels available on the TV. Just one news channel would have been good. It is an old building and there are lots of floor creaks and noises as people move about. This is just part of the experience with an historic building.

beautiful hotel, rooms and floors romantic very clean amazing bathroom (rain shower) feels really fancy for an acceptable price (low season) in the city center paid parking nearby (not from hotel), 9€ for 24 hours we got a renovated room (just a little more expensive)

breakfast is a little expensive (10,50 for adults) not all rooms are accessible because the house is so old although our room was right under the roof we could not open the window at night cause the street was too busy (small price to pay for a hotel right in the city)

Strongly recommended. We did not come all the way to France for a modern corporate experience. This lovely historic hotel was just right. Modern functional bathroom with a nice, more period, bedroom and public spaces. Our room was well maintained and with a beautiful chateau view. Fine breakfast and reasonably priced parking nearby.

Beautiful old hotel needed some upgrading in common area but lits of style . Our room was newly renovated with modern ensuite bathroom . Room was clean & comfortable . Staff were friendly & helpful . Continental breakfast acailable. Great location very close ti Chateau, House of Magic , Tourist Info , cafes & restaurants & historic area.

Although we were “ upgraded” our view was roof tops not the chateau . on the flip side though it was very quiet . parking was secure underground under the Chateau about 5 min walk but not free.

The Hotel is an old building which has charm in abundance There are areas where it is showing its age but that did not impact our enjoyment The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was great with a good selection and a pleasant breakfast room Close to the Chateau Royal and The staff especially the man on reception were very helpful and exceptionally knowledgeable. Thank you

For the money i could not find fault I like places with character and having worked in Hotels I rate welcome above all

It is quiet and very clean and comfortable close enough to take a bicycle anywhere

There is no transportation practically you have to get an Uber and if it’s after hours impossible to find the best thing you can do is rent a bicycle from the local rental place. The guy is Roma, and he is very accessible to bring in the bicycles and will store your luggage if you’re leaving late or arrive early

We took the castle view room, and it was nice and very well old french style decoration which we loved. The location was great. Breakfast room was amazingly decorated and breakfast was very nice. There was an elevator. Great location opposite the castle and close to everything. Nice staff.

No air condition , a little too hot at night. The hotel it self is old and the staircase need renovation, we had a great room and we loved the autentic decor so it was nice.
