The staff at the reception were very lovely. The room is small but not an issue at all. Very clean, which is the most important part and, as a bonus, you can leave your luggages at the reception for free, for the entire day, if you have a late flight.

N/A I understand that most of the people here have something to say about the fact that there's no elevator; however, it's not part of the hotel's description and I only want to make the mention that this is so irrelevant to use it as a complaint.

This is a very charming little hotel in one of the most gorgeous streets of Bordeaux, lined with antiquities shops, brasseries and cafes. The staff could not have been more warm, welcoming and helpful. My room was a good size for a single person, with a comfortable bed. I recommend the place whole-heartedly.

As others have commented, there is noise from other rooms and the street itself. However, I had earplugs with me and so this was not a problem.

Hotel Notre Dame has good location. Very close to tram stops C and B line. Has air conditioning, so important during warm days. Around Hotel are bakeries , coffee shops, groceries and restaurants. Close to city centre. Walking promenade not so far. Staff very friendly. We stay 4 days than perfect for us. Washing machine station 5 minutes walk from hotel .

Fabulous location on a quirky, interesting street. Parking nearby (quite expensive - but probably typical of a French city). Easy walking distance to the city centre, public parks, riverside and tram routes. Room was very small, but clean and well equipped with kettle and tea/coffee and efficient aircon that was much appreciated when we were there. Great breakfast, and the lovely lady on reception who looked after our dog so we could take breakfast together.

Staff were very friendly and helpful with food recommendations and luggage storage after check-out. Location was great, 5 min walk from a tram stop, very close to some nice restaurants and excellent bakeries. It is maybe a 20 min walk to the main centre.

It fulfilled expectations and was value for money. Room size was small. Shower was just ok.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Notre Dam . The Location was perfect for me. The hotel is in a quiet street just a few minutes walk or tram ride to the city with a good choice of restaurants and cafes in the immediate area. The room was clean and quiet. AC was very good in hot weather and the attached bathroom was clean and well presented .

My room was a little small, but had all I needed. There was no fridge in the room .

Very nice hotel, location is amazing. It is at walking distance to many turistic places. Also many nice restaurants and cafes are around. Hotel staff is very friendly as well. Rooms are little small, but the building is a typical Bordeaux house which is keeping its originality. I would definetely stay there again.

location and cleanliness

just one problem on the very last day where the advice given by 2 staff on the cost of a taxi was way out - they advised 30e - however on leaving the taxi at the airport we were faced with a 77e cost - causing obvious confrontation and embarrassment- yes I should have confirmed the cost with the driver before setting off - but both members of staff need to realise the impact of their very poor advice given

nice hotel for the price - comfortable bed, air con worked well, good showers, friendly staff. nice area with lots of bars and restaurants but quiet at night.

the sound insulation is poor - I could hear next door’s phone vibrating. similarly some people were chatting outside of our door at midnight and the noise really carried. room was pretty small. note that it is a walk from the centre but i believe it is reflected in the price.

Very central to the Tram and lots of nice restaurants around the area. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help you. Would highly recommend

Coffee machine was broken the first morning we arrived. However they did state that it was going to be fixed.
