The onsite restaurant is fantastic, we highly recommend the cheese fondue. Our room was very modern and nicely decorated. The host was kind. There is off-road parking, although it is not secured by a gate. However, the auberge is in a rural area and I doubt the lack of gate is a problem for parked cars.

Our only complaint is I wish they had mentioned there was a waiting room before check-in. We asked about an early check-in and were told they couldn't check us in until 5pm, which is fine, but if they had said we can come earlier and sit in the lounge that would have helped a lot. As it was we had to kill time in Bourg St Maurice to wait until 5, rather than coming to the auberge and getting some work done in the lounge. Other than that small detail, everything was great.

This is a delightful small hotel, well sited for the Tarentaise valley. We arrived by bike and they were incredibly helpful with secure bike storage. Our room was a twin with its own shower and a shared toilet. The number of available toilets was very good as was the private en suite shower. Everywhere was very clean and the staff were very helpful and approachable. We ate in the evening and the food is of high quality. It is full of French and Savoyarde charm and to be highly recommended

There is nothing to improve, especially given the value for money. If you are tall beware of the door lintels, the charm of the property extends to its traditional architecture

We stayed here for one night on our way to Tignes. The family who run the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. There was parking space available next to the hotel. Rooms were good size and the shared toilets at the corridor were clean and hotel is located in quiet spot although not far from the main road. There is a small garden terrace outside of the hotel which will be nice when the weather gets warmer. Breakfast exceeded all our expectations with local produce cheese, ham and nice bread. There was also large choice of other things like yogurt, granola, croissants, fruit an jam. We also ate at the restaurant in the evening and there was lot's of dishes to choose from including some local ones like tartiflet.

There was some renovation going on at the facility and some equipment for that laying around the house. Shared toilets came little surprise but for one night was ok. Apparently there are also rooms with private bathroom available.

Comfy beds, great value, family run, friendly hosts. Definitely worth eating dinner in the restaurant, food was delicious. A great place to stay if you have your own vehicle, as parking on site. Would also be possible if visiting by public transport as there is a free shuttle bus around the town and to the funicular for Les Arcs ski area. 15 minute walk from Bourg St Maurice centre.

Our room had an en suite sink and shower but toilets were shared. Breakfast was quite expensive (15 Euros per person).

Superb food - local gastronomic - all home-cooking. Warm welcome. Nice traditional feel of an old French inn. Small and quiet. Within easy reach of Les Arcs and other resorts, it made an ideal one-night stop at the beginning and end of a week's skiing.

Some rooms had to share toilets, but there are also rooms with full en-suite facilities.. The plumbing/ hot water system was not very modern.

The accommodation was very suitable for my purposes. The food was well prepared and presented and tasted great. The rooms were tidy and comfortable, and the location was within easy reach of everything I needed in under a 20 minute walk.

Everything worked out well on this trip, I don't have much negative to say. Maybe a kettle in the room would have been good, but too much coffee could stop people sleeping, so that's not up to me.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Although there are shared bathrooms, it is just the toilets. Luckily for us, it was right next to our room in a secluded hall. We enjoyed the supper in the restaurant.

Rooms were a little run down. WE had to take a shuttle bus from Chapieux on the TMB. This hotel was not that close to the bus station.

This is a very beautiful place. It is "far" from the train station, but the hotel staff can take you from the station to home. The staff is very friendly, and we could also speak in Portuguese (my mother language) with Raquel (staff), which is impossible to be best if you want to feel at home!

The family room (a 3 bed room) has the toilet out of the room, which is something to me, who wakes up in the middle of the night to use it. Nonetheless, it was clean and had no problem.

We were walking the TMB and took a day's accommodation in Bourg St Maurice - using the shuttle bus from Les Chapieu. The beds were comfy the shower was warm and powerful but best of all the food on the terrace was delicious. We were quite tired and my appetite was low - but the food was excellent.

It's a little bit of a walk (28mins) from the centre of bourg St. Maurice.

Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Location was 20 minutes easy walk from town centre. This was fine for us but if someone can’t walk far it could be inconvenient. A taxi was circa £10 but there were buses too although we didn’t use them

There was no wall bracket for the shower head. Although bathrooms were en suite the WCs were separate. Not a problem but the door needed repairing where the handle was missing.
