The chateau’s historic charm combined with modern amenities, create a perfect balance of comfort and elegance. The room was beautifully decorated, with stunning views of the garden. Breakfast room with 16th century wall tapestries was another highlight. The grounds were breathtaking, offering peaceful walks and lush gardens.

If there is one thing I can say, is that I would have preferred to have a separate bathroom, rather than a just a screen. The antique styled bathtub was beautiful though.

We ate breakfast in a beautiful dining room in the chateau. The tables were set for each guest and there were ample selections. Since it was off season we didn’t even see other guests. Our host greeted us each morning.

The weather was wet. So it was not possible to enjoy the beautiful grounds. Some travelers may complain about not having a hotel experience but this chateau is perfect for an independent traveler.

Perfect chateau in an excellent location on the edge of a village with restaurants and short walk away, while also offering a large secluded area to enjoy walks and bicycling. Beautifully decorated and great attention to detail. We couldn’t have enjoyed it more.

Unique holiday setting with probably the most comfortable beds. Bicycles offered to guests, which greatly contributed to our enjoyment of the estate. Beautiful location and wonderful hosts. Would strongly recommend.

Breakfast quite sparse for price asked. Paid extra for an additional bed but was given but a pullout couch which wasn't the best.

The main building, le Château, the nicely decorated rooms as well as the overwhelming beauty of nature!

There was nothing we did not like about the property

It was beautiful and fantastic experience. The queen's room was gorgeous, and I loved the bathroom. I enjoyed walk around the forest in the castle area. But best part of the hotel is the hostess. She was super kind and have positive energy always. I would like to thank for her!

When we visited there, all restaurents in the town are closed. So it would be better to check their holiday. (If not, you should buy some foods from small grocery store in the town.)

Chateau is well kept up and beautiful. Lovely breakfast with fresh cr4oissants, fresh fruit, dairy and even ham and cheese. . Very much enjoyed borrowing bikes to ride around the property and tennis rackets to play on clay courts. Love the fact that the family owns and runs the chateau. Great booklet provided with history of chateau and things to do.

The Chateau is gorgeous, and we received a very warm welcome. Our room was in a cottage just next to the Chateau. It was spotlessly clean, extremely quiet, and very comfortable. We had the best nights sleep. We enjoyed cycling and walking in the grounds and had a delicious meal in a restaurant next to the Chateau. Breakfast was continental style and just perfect.

Outstanding location set in beautiful parkland. We were in rooms in the former apple store. Extremely tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Lovely breakfast in the dining room of the chateau.

Not so keen on having the loo open to the rest of the bedroom. We had three rooms there and the other two had enclosed bathrooms. Just my personal choice.

Excellent venue, breakfast and service. Hosts where very obliging and where able to pick us up from train station as we had little knowledge of the local area. Room was above our expectations, wish we had a few more days to experience the Chateau and the local area. Hosts provided excellent service and advise of local village and made booking for us at local restaurant which had fabulous meals and wine.

We had no concerns, excellent venue, would love to come back again.
