It was beautiful and fantastic experience. The queen's room was gorgeous, and I loved the bathroom. I enjoyed walk around the forest in the castle area. But best part of the hotel is the hostess. She was super kind and have positive energy always. I would like to thank for her!
When we visited there, all restaurents in the town are closed. So it would be better to check their holiday. (If not, you should buy some foods from small grocery store in the town.)

Chateau is well kept up and beautiful. Lovely breakfast with fresh cr4oissants, fresh fruit, dairy and even ham and cheese. . Very much enjoyed borrowing bikes to ride around the property and tennis rackets to play on clay courts. Love the fact that the family owns and runs the chateau. Great booklet provided with history of chateau and things to do.
(lines on tennis court need to be nailed back in to keep from tripping.

The Chateau is gorgeous, and we received a very warm welcome. Our room was in a cottage just next to the Chateau. It was spotlessly clean, extremely quiet, and very comfortable. We had the best nights sleep. We enjoyed cycling and walking in the grounds and had a delicious meal in a restaurant next to the Chateau. Breakfast was continental style and just perfect.
Nothing.

Excellent venue, breakfast and service. Hosts where very obliging and where able to pick us up from train station as we had little knowledge of the local area. Room was above our expectations, wish we had a few more days to experience the Chateau and the local area. Hosts provided excellent service and advise of local village and made booking for us at local restaurant which had fabulous meals and wine.
We had no concerns, excellent venue, would love to come back again.

The property is a beautiful French châteaux in a magnificent park within the forest of Fontainebleau. I know no better one open to the public in the whole region
The rooms, although beautifully decorated, are not perfectly equipped to handle much luggage or much clothing as the space for it is limited. Once you are there, you feel ready to put up with any inconvenience, in order to be transported to another world which does not exist any more but which is charming and beautiful to visit. The owners are ready to help you all the way and are both charming.

This was the last stop of our holiday after travelling for the last three weeks through France and Spain, and boy what a stop. We had clocked up 4000km during our holiday and were so pleased we choose to stay here last, a wonderful way to end our trip. Guy, who is the owner of the property came down to meet us on a bicycle and showed us around to our place. Previously we had visited Versailles and wanted also to visit Château de Fontainebleau which was only ten minutes away by car so the location was perfect. Once we had finished in Fontainebleau Château we bought ourselves the biggest ice cream we had ever had and they were gorgeous. The place was in the town just outside the Château called Ice time. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and we choose two to go to on each evening which were both brilliant. They were Le Div 20 and Bistrot Du Broc and would recommend both. We stayed in one of the D'Artagnan Cottages in the grounds and it was just beautiful. Such a peaceful place to be and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings listening to all the birds singing and fascinated by the robot mowers. The breakfast was inside the Château and was excellent and Guy and his wife Estrella were there to look after us . Every thing about this place was wonderful and we will not hesitate to come back when in this direction.

GORGEOUS private home. The grounds are exceptional. We spent a few hours walking around and exploring. The rooms and the decor is five star. Every light, corner, piece of furniture was selected with such exquisite taste! Felt new with old world charm. Owners just lovely! What a treasure in our European trip to be sharing time at this magical home. Wow!! A dream come true to share “ castle life” in 2022. Thank you owners for all you did- the rooms are huge, comfortable, beautiful!!

The room was beautiful and spacious, the bathroom completely to our taste. We came to relax and it was very quiet there.”
Unfortunately, the breakfast was quite simple. For the price we've paid for the room, we expected to have a bit more choice.

The titled owners of this wonderful Chateau set in magnificent grounds are so charming one feels almost duty bound to come back again another time. The atmosphere is just so relaxing it's as though one has been conveyed back in time to spend a few nights in the XVII century.
There's nothing not to like except for the pain of saying 'au revoir'
