This is an old fashioned French hotel and like many it takes you back in time, the old fashioned wallpaper the small shower / bathroom and a bed like granny's, loved it. The location couldn't have been better.

French breakfast in general has become expensive for what you get to eat. A couple of croissants, maybe a bit of a buffet around €20 for 2.

The location was very central, and it was set at a good price for what you get. With the convenience of parking close by and a tobacco shop/coffee/bar on site.

Room could do with a revamp. It was a bit musky and was without curtains, which I found a bit odd!!!

A great location in the centre of town with very quaint rooms. Comfortable and enjoyable, we would stay again.

Parking was in a public car park opposite the property at an additional charge. Location was very convenient but parking was advised as included.

A real old time warp hotel - no lift, old fashioned wallpaper, huge armoire and a tiny shower. But the water was hot and plentiful and the man at reception (in the bar downstairs) carried my bag up the stairs. Close to the city centre but quiet. Breakfast was good value too.

We really enjoyed a truly quaint French hotel. The staff were lovely, the rooms very comfortable and we enjoyed every minute. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely stay.

Nothing. A tiny niggle no hairdryer but otherwise perfect

Le Coq is small, quirky, has character. Our particular room was spacious and included a sofa, overall comfortable and quiet (thanks to double glazing). The shower / bathroom is clean and modern and plentiful towels. The location was brilliant - on the edge of the old town. Staff are all friendly and the atmosphere in the attached Tabac is informal and welcoming.

We liked everything - each room is different so the experience could vary.

Very quirky place and the chap who greeted us was very personable and helpful. Convenient location on edge of town centre. It’s a no-frills kind of place but for the price, you can’t complain. Everything was clean and tidy.

Slightly worn decor but then, for 52 Euros for the two of us, I can’t really complain.

Breakfast is the only thing that could have been better as they didn’t have anything gluten-free.

Centrally placed PMU with small but functional rooms. Cheap as proverbial chips. Breakfast is OK but plenty of other places to go.

Nothing perfect for a one night stay.

A small bijou hotel in an excellent central location. It is operated by the owner of the tabac/bar next door, who is friendly and helpful and speaks good English. The decorations are homely but the whole place is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was adequate and good value.

The bathrooms are small and therefore the shower stalls are small. We are not large but anyone of, shall we say ‘generous’ proportions would struggle to shower.
