We travelled from Calais so the place is easily accessible from the A26/A4 motorways. Checking-in was good and the room on ground floor was quiet and spacious enough for us, with a comfortable bed and facilities for tea/coffee making (shower would be a little cramped for larger people). A door opened onto greenery at the back which is a plus in summer season. We had a short walk to the Italian restaurant nearby, where the food was good. We enjoyed the very varied and copious breakfast as before in the very colourful wooden decor that makes the Montréal special

Arrived late, using as a stop over. Receptionist very nice and helpful, pointed us in the direction to a nice restaurant within 2 mins walk away, Walking distance to a few amenities. Quirky hotel, nice funky details, they had clearly made an effort, room small but nicely done, clean and warm. Great breakfast with a lot of choice and good quality. Ideal spot for us as stop over as close to get back onto main road.

For a one night stop over this was fine, for a longer stay would need a bigger room with a bigger bed!

The hotel was very quirky and cozy. Like stepping back in time. Much effort in the decor has been taken to make the inside extremely cozy.

The Bar shut at 9, we booked so we could sit in the lovely Arm chairs and finish our holiday with a glass of wine we were happy to pay for. A man was also waiting to purchase a drink, It was 8.55 so we had enough time to get a drink but the man was on the phone and told us with hand gestures that the bar was closed. He then carried on his phone conversation. We were disappointed as would have loved a drink. Wr did sit in the lounge area with our won drink but the other man was also disappointed he couldn’t get some drinks. It’s a shame as that Bar is a great money maker for the Hotel.

The hotel was very clean, the room was comfortable and the shower in the en-suite was really good. Best though were the staff. They went out of their way to help at every opportunity. Breakfast was typical and good, but overall the value for money was exceptional. We stopped over to break up a long journey and for that purpose we would not hesitate to stay again.

We arrived about 2100, just as the bar closed and we would’ve liked a beer, other than that nothing of any importance.

Loved the wood everywhere, nice relaxing vibe. The rooms a not big, but large enough. Bathroom is a big outdated but ok for me. Great location to explore the area. Good price value. Breskfast was tasty with enough choise.

Inside the hotel looks so great, with newly refurbished rooms done in a quirky style with wood panelling. The most comfortable pillows of our whole two-week trip too. Great value for money and helpful location if using as a stop over for a long drive. Not far from the centre of town too and we easily had a meal out there. Very helpful staff too.

On the outside, the hotel looks a bit run down but I actually didn’t mind this as it’s such a nice surprise when you go in and find it’s so homely.

We loved the decorations in the hotel. Beautiful shabby chic furniture. The room was very comfortable, as was the bed. All clean and nice. Tea and coffee making facilities were a nice touch. Free parking on site made for a relaxed stay. The price was exceptionally good for the room. Breakfast great value. Would stay again if in the area.

Bathroom was a tiny bit small but adequate for our needs. Walking up 2 floors.

The decor is excellent, very clean and comfortable. Great shower, great breakfast. Fabulous to have shutters for darkness in the morning. No air conditioning but the fans were very powerful and did the trick.

Being on the ground floor didn't want to open the balcony style windows as felt too open and not quite safe, so a bit hot.

The room was comfortable and the facilities good for an overnight stop at this price. It would benefit from having more lighting in the room as it seemed dark when we arrived and were unloading. We appreciated having a kettle, proper mugs rather than paper ones would have been nice. A thicker curtain would be good to enable us to sleep later.
