What a find . Lovely old building, in its own grounds. very elegantly decorated within , it had a very relaxing and calm feeling. the reception staff very friendly and helpful We had a fabulous room, very spacious with a bath and a separate shower. The hotel has 2 restaurants we chose the bistrot which is in an annexe, where we were warmly greeted. and had a very nice meal, Good breakfast in the morning. Can highly recommend this hotel. we were there in winter but could see how beautiful it would be in summer. May return to find out.

Lovely property so glad we stayed there. It’s in lovely surroundings and was perfect Simon on reception was very friendly and very helpful would recommend and we will go back when we are in the area again.

The pillows are a bit lumpy. The only downside was the bar staff in the bistro restaurant we waited 20 mins to order a drink even after being given a menu. Would also be a good idea if they could have a menu in English

Didn't use the restaurant but did use the Bistro nearby. Food was excellent but more like a top-end restaurant than a bistro. Could do with menus being made available in English, however waitress was very happy to help with translations. Breakfast was very good but expensive for what was available.

The dinner in the restaurant was excellent. The wines selected by the sommelier were simply delicious. The building, the surroundings, the garden, the free and convenient parking space and the beautiful terrace inside the building were all very much to our liking. All was in a nice and clean condition. The pool looked great to, though we didn’t use it.

The bed was too small and too soft. The shower in the bathroom was not practical and the water pressure was too low. Overal we found our room a bit too basic for the price. The breakfast, though the location was beautiful, was very poor in offering. A bit too much a “french style breakfast”

Absolutely wonderful hotel - a little oasis in the countryside. The staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating, the room was really lovely and the setting absolutely delightful. Food and drinks were also excellent, and everything was superb value. We felt this was nearer a 5* stay than a 4*. Really exceptional and we would love to visit again in the future.

Unfortunately the main restaurant (*) wasn't open so we went to the Bistro instead. The food was fantastic and excellent value, or only tiny criticism was that the service was a little rushed but this was because we had a later booking. Otherwise, we couldn't fault the meal and service.

Everything. Just a shame we could not try the cuisine as the two restaurants had just shut for vacation. However, was contacted by reception and offered a refund, we declined and ended up having dinner at one of the restaurants they had recommended 15 min drive away, which ended up being a memorable evening. Suite was beautiful.

That the two restaurants were closed on the same dates. They should always have at least one open for guests. We travelled from very far by car and didn’t really feel like driving again. Maybe just the option of room service would have been nice.. however, we really enjoyed our stay and will be back

Friendly staff, bistro excellent, only used as a stopover on our way to Spain however next time will spend a few days here.

Incredible service. Very friendly staff. Delightful pool. We are at the main restaurant and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We enjoyed walking around the property especially the fountains and portage garden.

Excellent facilities

The bistro staff were poorly supervised. Very nice but we had to keep chasing them for service. They were standing around chatting.

Great gardens to explore, including the kitchens veggie garden. The quality of the food at the Bistro was as good as any Michelin star place i have eaten and was good value compared to the big brother in the main hotel.

Drink prices were far too high. The hotels wine which is part of the same group of companies was great but over priced for a local Ardeche wine (without AOP or IGP designation).
